Isaiah 59 Seek The Old Paths

Adam Good Seek The Old Paths Trinity defined by Jesus as Blasphemy
Glen Colley The Trinity is Three Gods not Seeking the Old Paths
The Word or Logos outlaws preaching, singing, playing instruments or Tithes and Offerings.

John defines the always-pagan trinity as the mark of AntiChrist.

The Old Paths were Lost in the Garden of Eden and Jacob Prophesied of the New Paths exclusive of the Covenan of Levi or the Levite Assemblies.

Everyone Violates the Old Paths which is the WAY that is called a SECT.  The Word or Logos is the Regulative Principle and outlaws preaching, singing, playing instruments, acting or PASSING THE PLATE to take from the poor

God in Christ made the only spiritual covenant with Abraham: Abraham was a "gens" and not a Jew because they didn't exist. The qahal or synagogue always existed because Jacob commanded that the people not attend their synagogue nor to enter into the COVENANT of Levi.  That was with the "house" or family or the LAOS and not with any priests or Levites; scribes or Pharisees Jesus called liars and hypocrites. Jacob warned that the people "wait" for Shiloh out of Judah.

A "Christian" has little to nothing with any organized religion: a Christian is a DISCIPLE of Christ and a Disciple is a Student and students do not go to worship services patterned  after all ancient sacrificial systems where evil men intimidated the laity into believing that the gods were evil or dangerous and YOU needed an expert "god handler" for which you paid a tithe.
The ekklesia is all of those who have been called out of the world: they were invited or called.

Acts 14:27 And when they were come, and had gathered [synagogued] the church [ekklesia] together, they rehearsed all that God had done with them, and how he had opened the door of faith unto the Gentiles.

1Cor. 14:23 If therefore the whole church [Ekklesia] be come together [synagogue] into one place, and all speak with tongues, and there come in those that are unlearned, or unbelievers, will they not say that ye are mad?

The Church or Ekklesia includes all of the saved.
When they are called into assembly synagogue type words or used.
The synagogue was only to hear material handed down from a higher authority.
They "gather" their thoughts and made certain that everyone understood.
The Lord's Supper is a "preaching" act which forces all who are BODY to sit down and listen to the direct command to PREACH the WORD for doctrine and comfort.

The civil ekklesia and synagoge was called into assembly about 49 times during the year: the church PATTERN was to come together once on the Lord's Day.

Neither synagogue nor ekklesia has any ministries or ministers other than the common practice of looking out for those who could not help themselves. Paul and recorded history affirmed that giving to the destitute was a personal responsibility. A lady pastor wrote that they make certain that 10% of the take goes to charity.

Paul told the Corinthians that their assembly did more harm than good: maybe we are excused from attending that church?
1Cor. 11:17 Now in this that I declare unto you I praise you not, that ye come together [synagogue] not for the better, but for the worse.
1Cor. 11:18 For first of all, when ye come together [synagogue] in the church [ekklesia], I hear that there be divisions among you; and I partly believe it.

Alfred Edershim a Jew said consistent with the text "the synagogue had no praise service." You you have a praise service maybe you don't understand synagogue.

The godly Jews attended Synagogue or Church of Christ (the Rock) from the wilderness onward and did not attend "worship services" at the Jerusalem Temple which was abandoned to worship the STARRY HOST: and they did holocaust infants there and was/is the HAGAR or WILDERNESS system. Sabbath means REST but the preachers and Rabbi--just like at the towers of Babylon--say that you should give ten percent of your WORK and endure what they call "worship services." The priests and Levites of all worship centers were called PARASITES.

Because the assembly is always some form of the synagogue word: Jesus synagogued with the disciples on the first day of the week and He and everyone knew to synagogue on the next first day of the week

People knew to wait a week until all of the ekklesia knew to synagogue on the first day of the week. Then-
Acts 20:7 And upon the first day of the week, when the disciples [mathetes] came together [sunago-synagogue] to break bread, Paul preached [Dialegomai-lego] unto them, ready to depart on the morrow; and continued his speech [logos opposite personal comments, singing, playing instruments]until midnight.
And what happened to the DIALOGER OF THE LOGOS
Acts 20:13 And we went before to ship, and sailed unto Assos, there intending to take in Paul: for so had he appointed, minding himself to go afoot.
I suppose that if I was retailing the FREE WATER of the word I might say "there is no pattern" and make up my own Derivative and lump in all of the "junk dogmas" and sell them to my friends and they would send in their widow's welfare check not knowing that "it derives its value from something else."

The "Jews" would be blind and deaf until "another prophet" like Moses came.  The godly people "waited" for Shiloh by being quarantined to their local towns so that they could not engage in the "Jewish" or all other worship of Apollon or Abaddon to which the Levites were abandoned by their service or Abadoh.

Jacob cursed and God abandoned the tribe of Levi to Worship the Starry host. That was their preference at Mount Sinai when they fell backward to musical idolatry of the Egyptian trinity.

The nation of Israel always continued the worship of Moloch [The Star of David] and other "gods" whatever they called them. The promise was no SEED would be allowed to drop to the ground and spout.  That is why modern "Jews" out of most nations have little to no HEBREW blood

Abraham
derived from Shem but he is called a "gen" and an Assyrian. God promised Abraham a dry parcel of present Palestine because godly people do not get rich and famous. Abraham found things too strict and fled to Egypt.

Deuteronomy 26:5 And thou shalt speak and say before the LORD thy God,
        A Syrian ready to perish was my father, and he went down into Egypt,
        and sojourned there with a few, and became there a nation, great, mighty, and populous
H761 ’ărammı̂y ar-am-mee' Patrial from H758 ; an Aramite or Aramaean:—Syrian, Aramitess.

The Arameans, or Aramaeans, ʼaramáyé) were a Northwest Semitic people who originated in what is now modern Syria (Biblical Aram)These highly mobile, competitive tribesmen with their sudden raids continually threatened long-distance trade and interfered with the collection of taxes and tribute.... The term appears equivalent to the Egyptian term Shasu (Shsw = wanderer They were organized in clans under a tribal chieftain, and were described as brigands active from the Jezreel Valley to Ashkelon and the Sinai.[1]), who replaced the outlaw 'Apiru

Habiru or Apiru (Egyptian: ˁpr.w) was the name given by various Sumerian, Egyptian, Akkadian, Hittite, Mitanni, and Ugaritic sources (dated, roughly, between 1800 BC and 1100 BC) to a group of people living as nomadic invaders in areas of the Fertile Crescent from Northeastern Mesopotamia and Iran to the borders of Egypt in Canaan. Depending on the source and epoch, these Habiru are variously described as nomadic or semi-nomadic, rebels, outlaws, raiders, mercenaries, and bowmen, servants, slaves, migrant laborers, etc.
The Old Covenant as the LAW OF MOSES was a Second Law in addition to the Abrahamic Covenant offered but rejected at Mount Sinai: it was aLaw GIVEN BECAUSE OF TRANSGRESSION until God gave them kings in His anger to transport them to their captivity and death sentence scattered by God who says that NO SEED would hit the ground and germinate.  The Covenant was made with a Tiny Remnant who accepted the New Covenant (Abrahamic) and were baptized into Christ. We cannot be Jew or Gentiles but IF we are saved we are the children of God and of Abraham.
  1. In Isaiah 1 Christ denied that God commanded sacrifices or the holocaust of animals and children.
  2. In Isaiah 55 He said that the Word like water was not for sale.
  3. In Isaiah 58 He defined the true REST (Sabbath not Saturday) and outlawed seeking your own pleasure or speaking your own words.
  4. Then in Isaiah 59 Christ defined how the TRUE ISRAELITES could be SAVED from the murderous civil, military, clergy complex He called robbers and parasites. God doesn't have anything for sale and Paul said that corrupters of the Word sell learning at retail which word defines prostitution.

Isa 59:1 BEHOLD, the Lords hand is not shortened, that it cannot save;
           neither his ear heavy, that it cannot hear:

God does not hear the prayers of an alien sinner.  Communion with God is based on keeping covenant with Him.  If God does listen to people it is never predestinated to prove that He is the Big Man on the block. No person has ever said to have sinned because of the birth; no person has ever sinned that God did not blame that person for their own fall.

Dt 30:15 See, I have set before thee this day life and good, and death and evil;

Dt 30:16 In that I command thee this day to love the LORD thy God, to walk in his ways, and to keep his commandments and his statutes and his judgments, that thou mayest live and multiply: and the LORD thy God shall bless thee in the land whither thou goest to possess it.

Dt 30:17 But if thine heart turn away, so that thou wilt not hear, but shalt be drawn away, and worship other gods, and serve them;
Deut. 30:18 I denounce unto you this day, that ye shall surely perish, and that ye shall not prolong your days upon the land, whither thou passest over Jordan to go to possess it.
Deut. 30:19 I call heaven and earth to record this day against you, that I have set before you life and death, blessing and cursing: therefore choose life, that both thou and thy seed may live:
Deut. 30:20 That thou mayest love the LORD thy God,
        and that thou mayest obey his voice,
        and
that thou mayest cleave unto him:
        for he is thy life, and the length of thy days:
        that thou mayest dwell in the land which the LORD
        sware unto thy fathers, to Abraham, to Isaac, and to Jacob, to give them.

They did not obey the conditional covenant and there is no command to invade and steal other people's property and kill them.

When that happens the "original" sin originates with the sinner as all of the prophets make clear.

Isa 59:2 But YOUR iniquities have separated between you and your God,
and
YOUR sins have hid his face from you, that he will not hear.

Let no man say when he is tempted, I am tempted of God:
        for God cannot be tempted with evil,
        neither tempteth he any man : James 1:13

But EVERY man is tempted,
        when he is
drawn away of his own lust,
        and enticed (entrapped, deluded). James 1:14

Then when lust hath conceived, it bringeth forth sin:
        and sin, when it is finished,
bringeth forth death. James 1:15

Isa 59:3 For your hands are defiled with blood,
           and your fingers with iniquity;
           your lips have spoken lies,
           your tongue hath muttered perverseness.

If any man among you seem to be religious, and bridleth not his tongue, but deceiveth his own heart, this mans religion is vain. James 1:26

Let no man deceive you with vain words: for because of these things cometh the wrath of God upon the children of disobedience. Ep.5:6

And Adam was not deceived, but the woman being deceived was in the transgression. 1Ti.2:14

Pure religion and undefiled before God and the Father is this, To visit the fatherless and widows in their affliction, and to keep himself unspotted from the world. James 1:27

James 3:3 Behold, we put bits in the horses mouths, that they may obey us; and we turn about their whole body.

James 3:4 Behold also the ships, which though they be so great, and are driven of fierce winds, yet are they turned about with a very small helm, whithersoever the governor listeth.

James 3:5 Even so the tongue is a little member, and boasteth great things. Behold, how great a matter a little fire kindleth

And the tongue is a fire, a world of iniquity: so is the tongue among our members, that it defileth the whole body, and setteth on fire the course of nature; and it is set on fire of hell. James 3:6

Psalm 15 shows how we can dwell in the tabernacle of God in His Holy Places:

Ps 15:1   LORD, who shall abide in thy tabernacle? who shall dwell in thy holy hill?

H168 ’ôhel o'-hel From H166 ; a tent (as clearly conspicuous from a distance):--covering, (dwelling) (place), home, tabernacle, tent.
Ps 15:2 He that walketh uprightly,
        and worketh righteousness, and speaketh the truth in his heart.
Ps 15:3 He that backbiteth not with his tongue,
        nor doeth evil to his neighbour, nor taketh up a reproach against his neighbour.
Ps 15:4 In whose eyes a vile person is contemned;
        but he honoureth them that fear the LORD.
        He that sweareth to his own hurt, and changeth not.
Ps 15:5 He that putteth not out his money to usury,
        nor taketh reward against the innocent.
        He that doeth these things shall never be moved.

Only the Prophets spoke the truth by the Spiriti OF Christ. Therefore, those who speak their own words to their own advantage can be judged by what they speak or do not speak with their tongues.

Jas 5:10 Take, my brethren, the prophets, who have spoken in the name of the Lord, for an example of suffering affliction, and of patience.

Isa 59:4 None calleth for justice, nor any pleadeth for truth:
           they trust in vanity, and speak lies;
           they conceive mischief, and bring forth iniquity.

Isa 59:5 They hatch cockatrice eggs, and weave the spiders web:
           he that eateth of their eggs dieth,
           and that which is crushed breaketh out into a viper.

For every kind of beasts, and of birds, and of serpents, and of things in the sea, is tamed, and hath been tamed of mankind: James 3:7

James 3:8 But the tongue can no man tame; it is an unruly evil, full of deadly poison.

Isa 59:6 Their webs shall not become garments,
           neither shall they cover themselves with their works:
           their works are works of iniquity,
           and the act of violence is in their hands.

None would be justified by their works but of obeying God's commands:

James 1:22 But be ye
doers of the WORD, and not hearers only, deceiving your own selves.
James 1:23 For if any be a hearer of the WORD, and
NOT a doer, he is like unto a man beholding his natural face in a glass:
James 1:24 For he beholdeth himself, and goeth his way, and straightway
forgetteth what manner of man he was.

But wilt thou know, O vain man, that faith without works is dead? James 2:20
Was not Abraham our father
justified by works, when he had offered Isaac his son upon the altar? James 2:21

Seest thou how faith wrought with his works, and by works was faith made perfect? James 2:22

And the scripture was fulfilled which saith, Abraham believed God, and it was imputed unto him for righteousness: and he was called the Friend of God. James 2:23

Ye see then how that by works a man is justified, and not by faith only. James 2:24

Isa 59:7 Their feet run to evil, and
           they make haste to shed innocent blood:
           their thoughts are thoughts of iniquity;
           wasting and destruction are in their PATHS.

Jas 5:3 Your gold and silver is cankered; and the rust of them shall be a witness against you, and shall eat your flesh as it were fire. Ye have heaped treasure together for the last days.

Jas 5:4 Behold, the hire of the labourers who have reaped down your fields, which is of you kept back by fraud, crieth: and the cries of them which have reaped are entered into the ears of the Lord of sabaoth.

Isa 59:8 The way of peace they know not;
           and there is no judgment in their goings:
           they have made them crooked PATHS;
           whosoever goeth therein shall not know peace.

H6140 ‛âqash aw-kash' A primitive root; to knot or distort; figuratively to pervert (act or declare perverse):--make crooked, (prove, that is) perverse (-rt).

James 3:14 But if ye have bitter envying and strife in your hearts
,
        glory not, and lie not against the truth.
James 3:15 This wisdom descendeth not
from above,
        but is earthly, sensual, devilish.

James 3:16 For where envying and strife is,
        there is confusion and every evil work.

James 3:17 But the wisdom that is from above is first pure, then peaceable, gentle,
        and easy to be entreated, full of mercy and good fruits,
        without partiality, and without hypocrisy.

James 3:18 And the fruit of righteousness is sown in peace of them that make peace.

Isa 59:9 Therefore is judgment far from us,
           neither doth justice overtake us:
           we wait for light, but behold obscurity;
           for brightness, but we walk in darkness.

Isa 59:10 We grope for the wall like the blind,
           and we grope as if we had no eyes:
           we stumble at noonday as in the twilight;
           we are in desolate places as dead men.

John 1:9 That was the true Light,
        which lighteth every man that cometh into the world.

Jn.3:19 And this is the condemnation,
        that light is come into the world,
        and men loved darkness rather than light,
        because their deeds were evil.

Jn.8:12 then spake Jesus again unto them, saying,
        I am the light of the world:
        he that followeth me shall not walk in darkness,
        but shall have the light of life.

2 Co 4:3 But if our gospel be hid, it is hid to them that are lost:
2 Co.4:4 In whom the god of this world

hath blinded the minds of them which believe not,
        lest the light of the glorious gospel of Christ,

who is the image of God, should shine unto them.

2Th.1:8 In flaming fire taking vengeance on them that know not God,
        and that
obey not the gospel of our Lord Jesus Christ:

1Pe.4:17 For the time is come that judgment must begin at the house of God:
        and if it first begin at us, what shall the end be of them
        that
obey not the gospel of God?

2 Co. 4:5 For we preach not ourselves, but Christ Jesus the Lord;
        and ourselves your servants for Jesus sake.

2 Co. 4:6 For God, who commanded the light to shine out of darkness,
        hath shined in our hearts, to
give the light of the knowledge
        of the glory of God in
the face of Jesus Christ.

Lu.1:77 To give knowledge of salvation unto his people by the remission of their sins
Isa 59:11 We roar all like bears, and mourn sore like doves:
           we look for judgment, but there is none;
           for salvation, but it is far off from us.
Jer 30] Therefore prophesy you against them all these words, and tell them, Yahweh will roar from on high, and utter his voice from his holy habitation; he will mightily roar against his fold; he will give a shout, as those who tread [the grapes], against all the inhabitants of the earth.

Jas 5:1 Go to now, ye rich men, weep and howl for your miseries that shall come upon you.
Jas 5:2 Your riches are corrupted, and your garments are motheaten.

Isa 59:12 For our transgressions are multiplied before thee,
           and our sins testify against us:
           for our transgressions are with us; and as
           for our iniquities, we know them;

Isa 59:13 In transgressing and lying against the Lord,
           and departing away from our God,
           speaking oppression and revolt,
           conceiving and uttering from the heart words of falsehood.

2 Peter 2:12 But these, as natural brute beasts, [Zoon, Zao, Zoe]
          made to be taken and destroyed,
          speak evil of the things that they understand not;
          and shall utterly perish in their own corruption;

2 Peter 2:13 And shall receive the reward of unrighteousness,
          as they that count it pleasure to riot in the day time.
          Spots they are and blemishes, sporting themselves
          with their own deceivings [delusions] while they feast with you;

Jas 5:4 Behold, the hire of the labourers who have reaped down your fields, which is of you kept back by fraud, crieth: and the cries of them which have reaped are entered into the ears of the Lord of sabaoth.

Jas 5:5 Ye have lived in pleasure on the earth, and been wanton; ye have nourished your hearts, as in a day of slaughter.

Isa 59:14 And judgment is turned away backward,
           and justice standeth afar off:
           for truth is fallen in the street,
           and equity cannot enter.

Isa 59:15 Yea, truth faileth; and he that departeth from evil maketh himself a prey.
           And the Lord saw it, and it displeased him that there was no judgment.

Jas 5:6 Ye have condemned and killed the just; and he doth not resist you.

Isa 59:16 And he saw that there was no man,
           and wondered that there was no intercessor:
           therefore his ARM brought salvation unto him;
           and his righteousness, it sustained him.

The HAND or ARM of God is the Intercessor or Christ in Jesus:

AND there shall come forth a rod out of the stem of Jesse, and a Branch shall grow out of his roots: Isaiah 11:1

And the spirit of the Lord shall rest upon him, the spirit of wisdom and understanding, the spirit of counsel and might, the spirit of knowledge and of the fear of the Lord; Isaiah 11:2

And shall make him of quick understanding in the fear of the Lord: and he shall not judge after the sight of his eyes, neither reprove after the hearing of his ears: Isaiah 11:3

But with righteousness shall he judge the poor,
        and reprove with equity for the meek of the earth:
        and he shall smite the earth with the rod of his mouth,
        and with the breath of his lips shall he slay the wicked. Isaiah 11:4

And righteousness shall be the girdle of his loins, and faithfulness the girdle of his reins. Isaiah 11:5

1 Cor. 1:30 But of him are ye IN Christ Jesus,
who of God is made unto us

        wisdom, and
        righteousness, and
        sanctification, and
        redemption.

That the God of our Lord Jesus Christ, the Father of glory, may give unto you the

    spirit of wisdom and
    [spirit of]
revelation in the
    [spirit of]
knowledge of him:
               Ep.1:17
Heb 1:5 For unto which of the angels said he at any time,
      Thou art my Son,
       this day have I begotten thee?
And again,
       I will be TO HIM a Father, and
       he shall be TO ME a Son?

WILL BE means that he WAS NOT before WILL BE. That would mean that the Son is NOT eternal.  Secondly, "I will be TO HIM a Father" means that the Invisible God Who is the Father of the Thought (in classical trinity) BEGAN to be a Father. And the begotten (not hatched) Son became or came into being at a point in time. Therefore, people with A holy spirit do not try to make the ONE DEITY into an idolatrous "family of people."

God "parabled" Himself as a ROCK and other ways simply because it is a fact that:

Exod 33:20
And he said, Thou canst not see my FACE: for there shall no man see me, and live.
Exod 33:21 And the Lord said, Behold, there is a place by me, and thou shalt stand upon a ROCK:
Exod 33:22 And it shall come to pass, while my GLORY passeth by,
        that I will put thee in a clift of the ROCK,
        and will cover thee with MY HAND while I pass by:

You remember that the church was built upon a ROCK and we are covered when we are clothed with Him in baptism. The "clothing" is a "fold in a garment" or bosom so we are speaking prophetically.

Rather than getting paid to preach the Just Jesus Gospel, THIS is part of the gospel which is a MOTIFF and a prophecy of God sending another PROPHET LIKE MOSES whom you WILL hear but only after conversion or baptism.

Exod 33:23 And I will take away MINE HAND, and
        thou shalt see my back parts;
        but my face shall not be seen.

When God sent His HAND to be the INTERCESSOR even though you become covered by the ROCK which is when we are CLOTHED With Christ ONLY at baptism, you have STILL not Seen God is His glory: you would drop dead.

Another METAPHOR for those who care enough to read the Spirit OF Christ contained in the PROPHETS:

Ezekiel 8:3And he put forth the form of an HAND and took me by a lock of mine head;
        and the SPIRIT lifted me up between the earth and the heaven,
        and brought me in the VISIONS of God to Jerusalem,
        to the door of the inner gate that looketh toward the north;
        where was the seat of the image of jealousy, which provoketh to jealousy.

The door — Of the outer court, or court of the women, so called, because they were allowed to come into it.

Weeping — Performing all the lewd and beastly rites of that idol, called by the Greeks, Adonis.

The sun — In imitation of the Persians, Egyptians, and other eastern idolaters; these Jews turn their back on God who created the sun, and worship the creature in contempt of the Creator.

This is the Spirit OF Christ telling you that the musically-made men are RESTING on the foundation of the "Image of Jealousy."

Ezekiel 8:4 And, behold, the glory of the God of Israel was there, according to the vision that I saw in the plain.

Ezek 8:5 Then said he unto me, Son of man, lift up thine eyes now the way toward the north. So I lifted up mine eyes the way toward the north, and behold northward at the gate of the altar this image of jealousy in the entry.

Ezek 8:6 He said furthermore unto me, Son of man, seest thou what they do? even the great abominations that the house of Israel committeth here, that I should go far off from my sanctuary? but turn thee yet again, and thou shalt see greater abominations.

Morris Silver: 4. A more subtle and controversial example is provided in the Bible. I find it difficult to believe that Israelites in the time of Ezekiel or of Manasseh placed idols in or around the Jerusalem Temple. The key is the idiomatic meaning of the rare Hebrew word semel "image, likeness." (Myers translates semel in 2 Chron. 33.7, 15, concerning Manasseh, as "slab-image"; 2 Kings 21.7 uses instead the word pesel translated as "graven image.") The phrase including semel in Ezekiel 8.3 has been translated as "seat of the image of jealousy that provokes jealousy" or as "seat of the infuriating image that provokes fury.

Some commentators consider hmqnh to be a later gloss to clarify the meaning of "image of jealousy." But how does it clarify? I propose the translation "seat of the commercial agent." It is well known that, for reasons of economic efficiency, ancient temples were commercial centers (see ESoA, Chap. 1). The rage of Ezekiel and his circle at the presence of a commercial agent in the courtyard of the Temple would be explained by their well-documented loathing for commercial life... This line of interpretation finds support in the LXX and Old Latin versions which may be translated as "statue/image of the trader/buyer." [acquire, buy, produce and procreate.

Torczyner suggests that the compound term sha mala was transmitted from Assyrian (not Babylonian) into Hebrew as semel, with sh being pronounced as s. Thus, again, the "image of jealousy" whose presence in the sanctuary enraged Ezekiel was a businessman, not an idol.

Zech 14:21 Yea, every pot in Jerusalem and in Judah shall be holiness unto the Lord of hosts: and all they that sacrifice shall come and take of them, and seethe therein: and in that day there shall be no more the Canaanite in the house of the Lord of hosts.

Kennaniy (h3669) ken-ah-an-ee'; patrial from 3667; a Kenaanite or inhabitant of Kenaan; by impl. a pedlar (the Canaanites standing for their neighbors the Ishmaelites, who conducted mercantile caravans): - Canaanite, merchant, trafficker.

That was the men turning their BACKS on God in order to hold a Sun Rise Service: a GREATER abomination

At the same time the Women were Lamenting for Tamuzz. This was the worship if Inanna the "mother of harlots" having stolen the power of the eldership, the power of musical idolatry and the power of sexual perversion.

Isa 59:17 For he put on righteousness as a breastplate,
           and a helmet of salvation upon his head;
           and he put on the garments of vengeance for clothing,
           and was clad with zeal as a cloak.

2Co 4:3 But if our gospel be hid, it is hid to them that are lost:
2Co 4:4 In whom the god of this world
        hath blinded the minds of them which believe not,

        lest the light of the glorious gospel of Christ,
        who is the
image of God, should shine unto them.

G1504 eikōn i-kone' From G1503; a likeness, that is, (literally) statue, profile, or (figuratively) representation, resemblance:--image.

G1503 eikō i'-ko Apparently a primary verb (perhaps akin to G1502 through the idea of faintness as a copy); to resemble:--be like.

2 Co 4:5 For we preach not ourselves,
        but Christ Jesus the Lord; and
        ourselves your servants for Jesus' sake.

2Co 4:6 For God, who commanded
        the light to shine out of darkness,
        hath shined in our hearts,
        to give the light of the knowledge of the glory of God
        in the face of Jesus Christ.

2Co 4:7 But we have this treasure in earthen vessels,
        that the excellency of the power may be of God, and not of us.

Isa 59:18 According to their deeds
           accordingly he will repay, fury to his adversaries,
           recompense to his enemies;
           to the islands he will repay recompense.

Peter's word EXAMPLE means a WRITTEN RECORD to MARK false teachers

2 Pet 1:15 Moreover I will endeavour
        that ye may be able after my decease
        to
have these things alway in remembrance.

That means that the Living Word left a Written Word to keep snakes in the grass from biting you. No, you are neither a Prophet or Apostle the ONLY ones giving God's Side through the Spirit OF Christ.

2 Pet 1:16 For we have not followed cunningly devised fables,
        when we made known unto you the power and coming of our Lord Jesus Christ,
        but
were eyewitnesses of his majesty.

2 Pet 1:17 For he received from God the Father honour and glory,
        when there came such a voice to him from the excellent glory,
       This is my beloved
Son, in whom I am well pleased.

2 Pet 1:18 And this voice which came from heaven
        WE
heard, when
        WE
were with him in the holy mount.

2 Pet 1:19 We have also
        a
more sure word of prophecy;
        whereunto ye do well that ye take heed,
        as unto a
light that shineth in a dark place,
        until the day dawn, and the day star arise in your hearts:

Peter DARES you to add to or subtract from that recorded "memory" or you will be MARKED.

2 Cor. 3:17 Now the Lord IS that Spirit: and where the Spirit OF the Lord is, there is liberty.

2 Cor. 3:18 But we all, with open face beholding as in a glass the glory of the Lord,
        are changed into the same image from glory to glory,
        even as by the Spirit of the Lord

And he saith unto me, Write, Blessed are they which are called unto the marriage supper of the Lamb. And he saith unto me, These are the true sayings of God. Rev 19:9

And I fell at his feet to worship him. And he said unto me, See thou do it not: I am thy fellowservant,
        and of thy brethren that have the testimony of Jesus:
        worship God: for the testimony of Jesus is the spirit of prophecy
. Rev 19:10

Phil 2:5 Let this MIND be in you, which was also in CHRIST Jesus:

Phil 2:6LIV who, though he WAS GOD, did not demand and cling to his rights as God,
Phil 2:7LIV
but LAID ASIDE his mighty POWER and GLORY,
        taking the
disguise of a slave and becoming like men.
Phil 2:8LIV
And he humbled himself even further,
        going so far as actually to die a criminal's death on a cross.

Phil 2:9LIV Yet it was because of this that God raised him up to the heights of heaven and gave him a name which is above every other name

1 Tim 3:16 And without controversy great is the mystery of godliness (the Gospel Scheme):

GOD was manifest (render apparent) in the FLESH, |
justified (rendered innocent) in the SPIRIT,
seen of angels, PREACHED unto the GENTILES,
BELIEVED on in the world,
RECEIVED up into GLORY.

Isa 59:19 So shall they fear the name of the Lord from the west,
           and his glory from the rising of the sun.
           When the enemy shall come in like a flood,
           the Spirit of the Lord shall lift up a standard against him.

Isa 59:20 And the Redeemer shall come to Zion,
        and unto them that turn from transgression in Jacob, saith the Lord.

Acts 3:19 Repent ye therefore, and be converted [TURN], that your sins may be blotted out, when the times of refreshing shall come from the presence of the Lord;

Is 59:21 As for me, this is my covenant with them, saith the LORD;
        My SPIRIT that is upon thee , and
        My WORDS which I have put in thy mouth,
        shall not depart out of thy mouth, nor out of the mouth of thy seed,
        nor out of the mouth of thy seeds seed, saith the Lord,
        from henceforth and for ever.

The Word of the Spirit OF Christ are not the Words of Moses or David.

This is a parallelism: both SPIRIT or WORDS are in our MOUTH for ever. Isaiah does not have to say that the sirit will never depart from us.

And the Redeemer shall come to Zion, and
           unto them that turn from transgression in Jacob, saith the Lord. Isa 59:20

Acts 3:19 Repent ye therefore, and be converted [TURN], that your sins may be blotted out, when the times of refreshing shall come from the presence of the Lord;

The word RETURN or CONVERT is done ONLY at the time and place of baptism in the New Testament.

At Baptism God gives us A holy spirit and the same Peter calls it A good conscience or co-perception so that with out CLEANSED spirit or MIND God's Word will abide there.

Acts 2:38 Then Peter said unto them, Repent, and be baptized every one of you in the name of Jesus Christ for the remission of sins, and ye shall receive the gift of the Holy Ghost.

Acts 2:41 Then they that gladly received his word were baptized: and the same day there were added unto them about three thousand souls.

Paul told the Jews who had been BLINDED because of the Musical Idolatry at Mount Sinai that they would not be able to READ the Scriptures left by the Spirit of Christ UNTIL they turned to Christ.

We save ourselves in that we GET ON the Ark, march through the Red Sea or are baptized.

This frees us from RELIGIOUS RITUALS intended to destroy us.

We are told that a million Jews died in Jerusalem but ALL baptized believers ESCAPED the polution
