Isaiah 8  Peep Mutter Music Sorcery

Isaiah 8 has Christ in Spirit connecting music to those practicing sorcery or witchcraft.

Click to see how the Old and New Testament use musical instruments and arousal singing as SORCERY and HERESY: the defacto intention is to use rhetoricians, singers and instrument players to MAKE SILENT the Words of Christ in the prophets and then certified by signs and wonders to apostles.

Instrumental Music as Religious Sorcery.

See how Christ in Jeremiah 23 defines blasphemy. The prophets wrote by the Spirit of Christ. Jesus was ordained to fulfill all of those Spirit prophecies. Peter limited out spiritual training to the prophets and the prophecies made more perfect.  He said that they were not to be "private interpreted" which means to further expound.  Jeremiah says that those who deny that it is God's sole role to instruct us are blasphemers without any hope.

See The Blasphemy of the Holy Spirit.

When people claim that if God has NOT commanded something then THEY have the right to make a law and you must submit to that law. This is the simple meaning of being strongly deluded.

ISAIAH 5

Isaiah 5 is parallel to Amos 5f and Acts 7.  Stephen notes that it was because of musical idolatry that the people hungered and thirsted for the Word of God and could never find it. Consistent with all known evidence Christ in the prophets shows that NOT teaching the Word as written and religious music is either the mark or the cause of outbreaks of homosexuality. This may be real or virtual when people attempt to arouse the people into a sexual-like experience as taught by the Vineyard (aka New Wineskins)

Click for comments on Isaiah Five.

Click for Amos 5.  Isaiah like Revelation 18 associates the rhetorical speakers, singers and instrument players as "lusted after fruits" under the leadership of the Babylon mother of harlots (Rev 17).  John calls them sorcerers which is consistent with all known references to religious speakers and musicians.

ISAIAH 9 PROPHECY OF MESSIAH

Jesus of Nazareth was the SEED of Abraham and of David: he was rightful king and through Mary the rightful priest. All power in heaven and earth of God who IS pure or holy or Wholly Spirit gave Jesus of Nazareth the right to be king and ruler of this earth.

Acts 2:29 Men and brethren,
let me freely speak unto you of the patriarch David,
that he is both dead and buried,
and his sepulchre is with us unto this day.
Acts 2:30 Therefore being a prophet, and knowing that God had sworn with an oath to him,
that of the fruit of his loins, according to the flesh,
        he would raise up Christ to sit on his throne;
Acts 2:31 He seeing this before spake of the resurrection of Christ, that his soul was not left in hell,
neither his flesh did see corruption.
Acts 2:32 This Jesus
hath God raised up, whereof we all are witnesses.
Acts 2:33 Therefore being by the right hand of God exalted,
and having received of the Father the PROMISE of the Holy Ghost,
HE hath shed forth this, which ye now see and hear.
Acts 2:34 For David is not ascended into the heavens:
but he saith himself, The LORD said unto my Lord,
Sit thou on my right hand,
Acts 2:35 Until I make thy foes thy footstool.
Acts 2:36 Therefore let all the house of Israel know assuredly,
that God hath made that same Jesus, whom ye have crucified,
        both Lord and Christ.
God revealed through the Prophets and Apostles that which Christ spoke to the prophets and Jesus made more certain by his faithful obedience. The apostles were eye and ear withesses of all that we need for life and godliness.  Like all Spirits Jesus returned to the Father with a continuing role of being in Holy (adjective) Spirit form but still named Jesus of Nazareth.

King

Thus saith the Lord the King of Israel, and his redeemer the Lord of hosts; I am the first, and I am the last; and beside me there is no God. Isaiah 44:6

Wonderful Counselor
Who hath directed the Spirit of the Lord, or being his counsellor hath taught him? Isaiah 40:13
---For there is one God, and one mediator between God and men, the man Christ Jesus; 1 Timothy 2:5

The Son is Called by the NAME:

Mighty God

I am Alpha and Omega, the beginning and the ending, saith the Lord, which is, and which was, and which is to come, the Almighty. Revelation 1:8
The Son naturally bears the NAME of their Father. The Son is NOT God the Father. Jesus called the Jews BLASPHEMERS because He always said that He was the SON and NOT God.
Ever-
lasting
Father
Doubtless thou art our father, though Abraham be ignorant of us, and Israel acknowledge us not: thou, O Lord, art our father, our redeemer; thy name is from everlasting. Isaiah 63:16
---Art thou not from everlasting, O Lord my God, mine Holy One? we shall not die. O Lord, thou hast ordained them for judgment; and, O mighty God, thou hast established them for correction. Revelation 1:12

Prince of
Peace
Him hath God exalted with his right hand to be a Prince and a Saviour, for to give repentance to Israel, and forgiveness of sins. Acts 5:31

CHRIST DEFINED THE SPIRITUAL ROLE FOR THE CHURCH IN THE WRITING PROPHETS

God turned the national leadership (Tribe of Levi) over to the worship of the starry host.  He ordained the Church of Christ in the wilderness to be a school of the Word of God--only. That excluded vocal or instrumental rejoicing; this was included in the Hebrew SABBATH (never means worship) and the REST Jesus finally gave us as the Greek word PAUO.

CHRIST LEFT US AN EXAMPLE TO FOLLOW: THAT MEANS A WRITTEN RECORD

It is not possible that those fighting against things like baptism FOR or IN ORDER to be saved to become A disciple of Christ with the gift of A holy spirit, have read or give any credit to the Prophets which is Christ's side opposed to the SERMONZING side.

Nor, it it possible to mock those who do not use MUSIC as sub-human to have ever read the context from which they get proof texts second hand out of lexicons.

The Church has NO OTHER FUNCTION but to make known the manifest wisdom of God: rhetoricians or theologians (doctors of the law) are tasked to "take away the key to knowledge.}

Zech. 9:10 And I will cut off the chariot from Ephraim, and the horse from Jerusalem, and the battle bow shall be cut off: and he shall speak peace unto the heathen: and his dominion shall be from sea even to sea, and from the river even to the ends of the earth.

The Spirit OF Christ presented the spiritual, anti-legalistic sacrificial system. That included the warning that MUSIC was the mark of those who even have the "spirit" to ask whether God has the right to command, example and infer. The eunuch read this testimony and when he found out that Jesus was that Messiah UPON whom the Spirit OF Christ would rest, he WANTED to be baptized.  Even today "those that gladly receive Jesus as the Christ want to be baptized."  Those who deny that authority are defined by the word APISTOS which means that you are a traitor: Why would anyone have to say that "it don't say that if a TRAITOR is not baptized he will be damned."

THE DIRECT COMMAND OF CHRIST IN ALL OF THE PROPHETS AND APOSTLES

Isa 8:16 Bind up the testimony, seal the law among my disciples.
H8584 te‛űdâh teh-oo-daw' From H5749 ; attestation, that is, a precept, usage:—testimony.

Is. 9:7 Of the increase of his government and peace there shall be no end, upon the throne of David, and upon his kingdom, to order it, and to establish it with judgment and with justice from henceforth even for ever. The zeal of the LORD of hosts will perform this.
Is. 9:8 The Lord sent a word into Jacob, and it hath lighted upon Israel.

1Pet. 1:10 Of which salvation the prophets have inquired and searched diligently,
who prophesied of the grace that should come unto you:
1Pet. 1:11 Searching what, or what manner of time the Spirit of Christ which was in them did signify,
when it testified beforehand the sufferings of Christ, and the glory that should follow.
1Pet. 1:12 Unto whom it was revealed, that not unto themselves, but unto us they did minister the things,
which are now reported unto you by them that have preached the gospel unto you
        with the Holy Ghost sent down from heaven;
which things the angels desire to look into.
John 6:63 It is the spirit that quickeneth; the flesh profiteth nothing: the words that I speak unto you,
John 6:63 It is the spirit that quickeneth; the flesh profiteth nothing:
the words that I speak unto you, they are spirit, and they are life.
Rev. 19:10 And I fell at his feet to worship him. And he said unto me, See thou do it not: I am thy fellowservant, and of thy brethren that have the testimony of Jesus: worship God: for the testimony of Jesus is the spirit of prophecy.
Isa 8:17 And I will wait upon the Lord,
that hideth his face from the house of Jacob,
and I will look for him.

Jesus continued to speak in parables to hide his faith from those who had habitually rejected the WORD of God for no other reason but that they could IMPOSE their own words as commands, examples and inferences.

Isa 8:18 Behold, I and the children whom the Lord hath given me
are for signs and for wonders in Israel from the Lord of hosts,
        which dwelleth in mount Zion.
H226 ’ôth oth Probably from H225 (in the sense of appearing); a signal (literally or figuratively), as a flag, beacon, monument, omen, prodigy, evidence, etc.:—mark, miracle, (en-) sign, token.
THAT IS THE MARK FOR RESISTING WITCHES, SORCERERS AND OTHER MUSICIANS AND RHETORICIANS.

Musica, magica, exegetice are all outlawed as "doubtful disputations" or "private interpretations" which would include all non-expository sermons and ALL songs.  John called them SORCERERS and all pagans believed that the gods lived IN or spoke THROUGH their musical instruments.  David wanted to arouse his lyre so he could awaken the dawn.

Isa 8:19And when they shall say unto you,
Seek unto them that have familiar spirits,
and unto wizards that peep, and that mutter:
should not a people seek unto their God?
for the living to the dead?

By implication their power to evoke spirits with whom they were in familiar intercourse is denied." (Int Std Bible Ency., ency, p. 690)

Amos and Jeremiah speak of the Marzeah connected with the wine, women and musical instruments. The Marzeah was a festival WITH and FOR the DEAD: Israel had a COVENANT WITH DEATH.

"The marzeah had an extremely long history extending at least from the 14th century B.C. through the Roman period. In the 14th century B.C., it was prominently associated with the ancient Canaanite city of Ugarit (modern Ras Shamra), on the coast of Syria...

The marzeah was a pagan ritual that took the form of a social and religious association... Some scholars regard the funerary marzeah as a feast for--and with--deceased ancestors (or Rephaim, a proper name in the Bible for the inhabitants of Sheol)." (King, Biblical Archaeological Review, Aug, 1988, p. 35, 35)

"These five elements are:

To the law and to the testimony:
if they speak not according to this word,
it is because there is no light in them. Isa 8:20

For those addicted to the wineskin form of singing, Paul commanded "that which is written." Psalms, hymns and spiritual songs are ALL from thee BOOK of Psalms and other poetic (not musical) texts.
The PURPOSE DRIVING this is to "speak according to this Word."
If they DO NOT it is because they are not OF TRUTH however right wingy.

For those who fleece by the skill of rhetoric and composing songs and sermons, Peter commanded that which had been delivered by Jesus or the Spirit of Christ through the PROPHETS. The Spirit OF Christ did not COMMAND for thus what He IMPOSED on both houses of Israel.
The PURPOSE DRIVING this is that it is the ONLY MARK for identifying those who do NOT "teach that which has been taught." They defacto repudiate the Spirit OF Christ by "not speaking according to this word" and that means that there is NO TRUTH or LIGHT in them
"The spirits were thought to speak in murmurings or piping sounds (Isa 8:19), which could be imitated by the medium (ventriloquist)...Most spiritual and popular was the interpretation of dreams.
It also was the case that mediums intentionally would convert themselves into a semi-waking trance. In this way the suitable mediums attained to a certain kind of clairvoyance, found among various peoples. This approaches the condition of an ecstatically aroused pseudo-prophet.. In Greece, too, oracles were pronounced by the Phythian prophetess who by vapors and the like was aroused to a practice of the mantic art. (Int Std Bible Ency, p. 2466)

Dem. 13 20 The politicians, absorbed in their profession, neglect to devise the best policy for you and have joined the ranks of the office-seekers; and you conduct your party-politics as you used to conduct your tax-paying—by syndicates.1 There is an orator for chairman, with a general under him, and three hundred to do the shouting. The rest of you are attached now to one party and now to another.

LOOK TO THE HILLS (ZOE) AND MOUNTAINS (ACU)

Bacchae 215]  I happened to be at a distance from this land, when I heard of strange evils throughout this city, that the women have left our homes in contrived Bacchic rites, and rush about in the shadowy mountains, honoring with dances [220]  this new deity Dionysus, whoever he is.

I will soon stop them from this ill-working revelry. And they say that some stranger has come, a sorcerer, a conjuror from the Lydian land, [235]  fragrant in hair with golden curls, having in his eyes the wine-dark graces of Aphrodite. He is with the young girls day and night, alluring them with joyful mysteries. If I catch him within this house, [240]  I will stop him from making a noise with the thyrsos and shaking his hair, by cutting his head off.

Isa 8:21 And they shall pass through it,
        hardly bestead and hungry:
and it shall come to pass,
that when they shall be hungry,
        they shall fret themselves,
and curse their king and their God,
                and look upward.
FRET: H7107 qatsaph kaw-tsaf' A primitive root; to crack off, that is, (figuratively) burst out in rage: (be) anger (-ry), displease, fret self, (provoke to) wrath (come), be wroth.

Joseph Campbell noted that when people REJECT their religion they CRACK AWAY to some primative religion of which music (sorcery) is the mot ancient and superstitious.

History supports my view that the sudden CRACKING AWAY to "praise singing" and the use of "machines" to do hard work and wage war is what Paul called WRATH or an ORGY when women begin to sing, clap and wave their hands in the "holy places."

Isa 8:22 And they shall look unto the earth;
        and behold trouble and darkness,
dimness of anguish; and they shall be driven to darkness.

Amos 5-8 and Isaiah 5 prove that MUSIC is that which deprived people of the WORD and they died.

Baptism Index: refuting baptism is defined as treachery by those in revolt

ISAIAH 8 IS THE CONTEXT TO HIDE TRUTH FROM HYPOCRITES FOR SALE: SPEAKERS, SINGERS, INSTRUMENT PLAYERS, ACTORS ALL FOR HIRE.

Is. 59:15 Yea, TRUTH FAILETH; and he that DEPARTED from evil maketh himself a prey:
and the Lord saw it, and it displeased him that there was no judgment.
Is. 59:16 And he saw that there was NO MAN
and wondered that there was no intercessor:
therefore his ARM brought salvation unto him; and his righteousness, it sustained him.

Is. 59:17 For he put on righteousness as a BREASTPLATE,
        and an HELMENT of salvation upon his head;
and he put on the garments of VENGEANCE for clothing,
and was clad with ZEAL as a cloke.
Is. 59:18 According to their deeds,
        accordingly he will REPAY,
        fury to his adversaries,
recompence to his enemies; to the islands
        he will repay recompence.
Is. 59:19 So shall they FEAR the name of the Lord from the west,
and his glory from the rising of the sun.
When the enemy shall come in like a flood,
the Spirit of the Lord shall lift up a STANDARD against him.
Is. 59:20 And the Redeemer shall come to Zion,
and unto them that turn from transgression in Jacob, saith the Lord.

Is. 9:1 Nevertheless the dimness shall not be such as was in her vexation,
when at the first he lightly afflicted the land of Zebulun and the land of Naphtali,
and afterward did more grievously afflict her by the way of the sea, beyond Jordan, in Galilee of the nations.
Is. 9:2 The people that walked in DARKNESS have seen a great LIGHT:
they that dwell in the land of the SHADOW of death, upon them hath the light shined.

Is. 9:3 Thou hast multiplied the nation, and NOT increased the joy:
they joy before thee according to the joy in harvest,
and as men rejoice when they divide the spoil.
Is. 9:4 For thou hast broken the yoke of his burden,
and the staff of his shoulder,
the rod of his oppressor, as in the day of Midian.
Is. 9:5 For every BATTLE of the warrior is with confused noise,
        and garments rolled in blood;
but this shall be with burning and fuel of fire.

Is. 9:6 For unto us a CHILD is BORN,

WHEN MODERN THEOLOGIANS SAY THAT GOD CAME IN THE FLESH THEY ARE ANTICHRIST.

1John 2:18 Little children, it is the last time:
and as ye have heard that ANTICHRIST shall come,
        even now are there many
ANTICHRISTS; whereby we know that it is the last time.
1John 2:22 Who is a liar but he that denieth that Jesus is the Christ?
        He is
ANTICHRIST, that denieth the Father and the Son.
2John 7 For many deceivers are entered into the world,
who confess NOT that Jesus Christ is come in the flesh.
This is a deceiver and an
ANTICHRIST

Jehovah the only true God (EL) did NOT come in the FLESH
Rom. 1:1 Paul, a servant of Jesus Christ,
        called to be an apostle,
separated unto the gospel of GOD,  [yhwh in Hebrew, Theos in Greek]
Rom. 1:2 (Which he had PROMISED afore by his prophets in the holy scriptures,)
Rom. 1:3 Concerning HIS SON Jesus Christ our LORD, [Kurios]
        which was made of the SEED of David according TO THE FLESH;

Jesus of Nazareth was declared the SON of God 30 years after He came IN THE FLESH.
Jesus was neither Lord nor Christ until His resurrection when He became the Head of the Church.
Rom. 14:9 For to this end Christ both died, and rose, and revived,
THAT he might be Lord [Kurios NOT Theos]  both of the dead and living.

Rom. 1:4 And declared to be the Son of God with power,
according to the spirit of holiness,  [prophesied in the prophets by the Spirit OF God]
BY the resurrection from the dead:
Rom. 1:5 By whom we have received grace and apostleship,
for OBEDIENCE to the faith among all nations, for his name:
Rom. 1:6 Among whom are ye also the called of Jesus Christ:

Rev. 1:5 And from Jesus Christ,
        who is the faithful witness,
and the first begotten of the dead,
and the prince of the kings of the earth.
        Unto him that loved us,
and washed us from our sins in HIS OWN BLOOD
Luke 24:39 Behold my hands and my feet,
        that it is I myself: handle me, and SEE;
for a SPIRIT hath not flesh and bones, as ye see me have.
John 4:24 God is a SPIRIT: and they that worship him must worship him in spirit and in truth.

unto us a SON is given:
Luke 2:40 And the child grew, and WAXED strong in spirit,
filled with WISDOM: and the grace of God was upon him.

As a 12 year old Jesus and others were already scholars.

Luke 2:49 And he said unto them, How is it that ye sought me?
wist ye not that I must be about my Father’s business?

IF YOU AND PHARISEES SAY THAT JESUS WAS REALLY THE LORD-GOD YOU BLASPHEME
John 10:33 The Jews answered him, saying,
        For a good work we stone thee not;
        BUT FOR BLASPHEMY
and because that thou, being a MAN, MAKEST THYSELF GOD
John 10:36 Say ye of him,
        whom the FATHER hath SANCTIFIED,
        and sent into the world,

Thou BLASPHEMEST;
BECAUSE I SAID, I AM THE SON OF GOD?
