2. But in the second place, I have an insuperable objection to the Arian and Calvinistic phraseology--On the doctrine of the first relation existing between the Father and the Saviour of Men,

because it confounds things human and divine,
and gives
new ideas to bible terms unthought of by the inspired writers.

The names Jesus, Christ, or Messiah, Only Begotten Son, Son of God, belong to the Founder of the christian religion, and to none else. They express not a relation existing before the christian era, but relations which commenced at that time.

To understand the relation betwixt the Saviour and his Father, which existed before time, and that relation which began in time, is impossible on either of these theories. There was no Jesus, no Messiah, no Christ, no Son of God, no Only Begotten, before the reign of Augustus Cesar.

The relation that was before the christian era was not that of a son and a father,

terms which always imply disparity;
but it was that expressed by John in the sentence under consideration.
The relation was that of God, and the "word of God."

Athenagoras the trinity: A.D. 176–177 The Son is the Intelligence, Reason, Wisdom of the Father,
and the Spirit an effluence, as light from fire.

"The Son of God is the Word of the Father in thought and actuality. By him and through him all things were made, the Father and the Son being one. Since the Son is in the Father and the Father is in the Son by the unity and power of the Spirit,

"the Mind and Word of the Father is the Son of God.

"And if, in your exceedingly great wisdom, it occurs to you to inquire what is meant by `the Son,' I will tell you briefly: He is the first- begotten of the Father, not as having been produced
for from the beginning God had the Word in himself, God being eternal mind and eternally rational, but as coming forth to be the model and energizing force of all material things" (Athanagoras, 177 AD, Plea for the Christians 10:2-4).

GENERAL CONGREGATIONAL SINGING WAS A LATE APOSTASY AFTER THE REFORMATION. IT IS PURPOSE-DRIVEN TO SILENCE HOLY SCRIPTURE.

Hilary (A.D.. 355) says:   "In the songs of Zion, both old and young, men and women, bore a part; their psalmody was the joint act of the whole assembly in unison."

The purpose of the assembly was to learn Scripture by speaking it one to another.  There was no singing in a tuneful sense until much. However, even if you speak THE TEXT, people can go home and the women could ask questions there..

Jerome says: "Go where you will, the plowman at his plow sings his joyful hallelujahs, the busy mower regales himself with his psalms, and the vinedresser is singing one of the psalms of David."

EVANGELIST: G2099. εὐαγγελιστής euaggelistes, yoo-ang-ghel-is-tace´; from 2097; a preacher of the gospel: — evangelist.
G2097. εὐαγγελίζω euaggelizo, yoo-ang-ghel-id´-zo; from 2095 and 32; to announce good news (“evangelize”) especially the gospel: — declare, bring (declare, show) glad (good) tidings, preach (the gospel).
G32. ἄγγελος aggelos, ang´-el-os; from ἀγγέλλω aggello (probably derived from 71; compare 34) (to bring tidings); a messenger; especially an “angel”; by implication, a pastor: — angel, messenger.

Luke 4:18 The Spirit of the Lord is upon me, because he hath anointed me to preach the gospel to the poor; he hath sent me to heal the brokenhearted, to preach deliverance to the captives, and recovering of sight to the blind, to set at liberty them that are bruised,

DIRECT COMMMAND:

Rom. 10:15 And how shall they preach, except THEY BE SENT? as it is written, How beautiful are the feet of them that preach the gospel of peace, and bring glad tidings of good things!

APPROVED EXAMPLE:
Rom. 15:20 Yea, so have I strived to preach the gospel,
        not where Christ was named,
lest I should build upon another man’s foundation:
2Cor. 10:13 But we will not boast of things without our measure,
but according to the measure of the rule which God hath distributed to us,
a measure to reach even unto you.
2Cor. 10:15 Not boasting of things without our measure, that is, of other men’s labours;
but having hope, when your faith is increased,
that we shall be enlarged by you according to our rule abundantly,
2Cor. 10:16 To preach the gospel in the regions beyond you,
and not to boast in another man’s line of things made ready to our hand.
2Cor. 10:16 To preach the gospel in the regions beyond you,
and not to boast in another man’s line of things made ready to our hand.

What is his name? what shall I say unto them?

CONCLUSIONS:  THE MAN JESUS WAS NOT THE GOD OF ABRAHAM!

We even have a mention at a later date of a similar custom in connection with the cult in Jerusalem, where certain Levites, called me'oreim, 'arousers," sang every morning this verse from Ps 44: 'Awake, Lord, awake! Do not abandon us for ever." The Talmud tells us that Johy Hyrcanus suppressed the practice because it recalled too readily a pagan custom.

Psa. 57:9 I will praise thee, O Lord, among the people: I will sing unto thee among the nations.

A similar practice is attested in connection with the cult of Herakles-Melkart. According to Menander, as he is quoted by Josephus, the king Hiram, who was a contemporary of Solomon, rebuilt the temples of Tyre and, 'he was the first to celebrate the awakening of Heracles in the month of Peritius." (de Vaux, p. 247)

In an inscription from Cyprus, in one from Rhodes and in several from around the district of Carthage, there are references to important personages who bear the title Mqm"lm which we can translate as 'arouser of the god." (de Vaux, p. 247).

God's own Godhead is in the class of His Power. Surely, God does not mean GOD.

Divinity (from Latin divinitas) refers to the quality, presence, or nature of that which is divine—a term that, before the rise of monotheism, evoked a broad and dynamic field of sacred power. In the ancient world, divinity was not limited to a single deity or abstract ideal but was recognized in multiple forms: as a radiant attribute possessed by gods, as a vital force cushioning nature, and even as a quality glimpsed in extraordinary humans, laws, or acts. The Latin divinitas and its Greek counterparts (theiotēs, theion) conveyed something both immanent and awe-inspiring: a presence that could be felt in thunder, justice, ecstasy, fate, or beauty.

Early Christianity inherited this language but dramatically reshaped it. With the rise of theological monotheism, divinity came increasingly to denote the singular and absolute nature of God.

The Christianization of the term narrowed its field: what had once described a quality diffused across nature, fate, and multiple gods was now claimed exclusively for the creator God
and, LATER, EXTENDED to Christ and the Holy Spirit through doctrines of the Trinity. Over time, this led to a sharper boundary between the divine and the human, the sacred and the profane.
some churches within the Churches of Christ (among them the movement's founder, Barton W. Stone),[4]
Some early Christians whose beliefs would have fallen under 'orthodoxy' in the third and fourth centuries denied the eternal generation of the Son; they viewed the Son as having been begotten in time. These include Tertullian and Justin Martyr.[16][17] Tertullian

And first, they taught us with one consent that God made all things out of nothing; for nothing was coeval with God: but He being His own place, and wanting nothing
God, then, having His own Word internal within His own bowels,
.....begat Him, emitting Him
......along with His own wisdom before all things.
He had this Word as a helper in the things that were created by Him, and by Him He made all things.
He is called "governing principle", because He rules, and is Lord of all things fashioned by Him.
He, then, being Spirit of God, and governing principle, and wisdom, and power of the highest,
came down upon the prophets, and through them spoke of the creation of the world and of all other things.
(This was the Spirit of Christ, 1 Peter 1:11; Revelation 19:10)
For the prophets were not when the world came into existence,
but the wisdom [Spirit in this instance is Sophia] of God which was in Him, and
........... His holy Word which was always present with Him
