Wayne Jackson Jesus in Form of god
Did Jesus Christ Exist in the Form of God on Earth?
Wayne Jackson Is Holy Spirit Worthy of Worship the Hebrew and Greek word for spirit means WIND: then figuratively of breath. Spirit never speaks of a "person" but the mind or mental disposition of that person. God IS holy or Wholly Spirit without any body parts of flesh. God's Spirit is Christ's Spirit is the Mind of Christ and Jesus said My words ARE Spirit and they are Life.
Wayne Jackson: Some conservative writers have attempted to defend the idea that the second Person of the Godhead, at the time of the “incarnation” (i.e., when “the Word became flesh”—John 1:14), laid aside “the form of God.” They contend that the concept of an infinite God being clothed within a human body is illogical. Though these authors undoubtedly mean well, their position is quite erroneous as to the nature of the incarnate Christ.
GOD HAS HIS OWN THOUGHT, BREATH [SPIRIT] AND WORD WITH HIM. WORD OR LOGOS IS WHAT JESUS AND OTHERS SPOKE TO CONVEY GOD'S MIND
Paul did not say that Jesus WAS GOD from all eternity past: God gave Jesus a grand appearance and power as the SINGULAR image of the always-pagan godHEADS. Godhead means "divine nature" and not being filled with the infinite Almighty.

3. A model after which any thing is made, a pattern, stamp, last (of a shoemaker),
That Jesus was born as the IMAGE OF GOD is validated by the Latin which defines "God" as:

When God breathed (spirit) and Jesus articulated the Word or Logos He told the apostles that if THEY spoke what HE spoke they would be hated and despised. Jesus had the POWER to whip all of the Jews into subjection and force people into the kingdom. However, to prevent Himself from diminishing the LOGOS He then took on the form of the WORD but without any personal power.
WE can be filled with the nature of God but that does not make us a god. We are in the IMAGE of God but humility is the only path to power.ex-ĭnānĭo made powerless, Vulg. hath blinded the minds of them which believe not,
lest the light of the glorious gospel of Christ,

MISSING LINKS: The Spirit OF (preposition) Christ defined everything required to make one wise until salvation in the writing Prophets: He defined the future REST both inclusively and exclusively. Jesus of Nazareth made these prophecies more certain and the Apostles as eye-- and ear-- witnesses. Each writer guided into all truth by Jesus in His Holy Spirit state left their "parts" as their memory. Peter said that these perfected prophecies are not to be private-interpreted which means further expounded.
The people who adopted a trinity view to fight Arius understood that there was no Biblical evidence: like music and other additions they were needed because they "were common to all pagan cults." Those who follow a misguided version of the first scholars to speak the "trias" words are left with collecting isolated texts and putting them into a system of theology. John said that those who deny the God-Father and Jesus-Lord or Son are antichrists: that is because there is an urge to fracture the Spirit OF Christ from the person to which a spirit belongs.
This is an ANTIChristian view also because it builds on the thesis that the Spirit OF Christ was not capable of explaining how a "familly of gods" existed: it is left to them to lump isolated texts into a basket.
The Spirit OF Christ defined the TOTALITY of the future rest (from burden laders) in clear terms after defining the pagan antithesis in the prophets. He REPUDIATES any past or future paganism in clear words. Therefore, theologians would look for and find a clear REPUDIATION of what the Spirit OF Christ taught. The prophets even then repudiated the POLYTHEISM of the Jews after God abandoned them to worship the Starry Host.

into Jacob, and it hath lighted upon Israel.
There are MANY gods but only One Lord Jehovah. No one ever tried to make Jehovah into a family including two subordinates. El can be the pagan "gods" or it can be one with ruling authority. The texts makes an effort to say that being a "god" does not mean Lord Jehovah.

The Spirit OF Christ could have said that a Son will be born who WILL BE the Mighty God. Elohim is not Jehovah. Jesus affirmed that he had all of the authority of Father, Son and Spirit. Or as everyone believed father, spirit (mother) and son:

ALL conservatives understand the classical trinitarians who began defining God as did the Campbells:
ALL conservatives understand the classical trinitarians who began defining God as did the Campbells:
God the only Father thinks or conceives
God the only Divine Being BREATHS (spirit) as His power
God the only Divine being SPEAKS or articulates WORDS.
In paganism, Hermes or Mercury was the LOGOS and one of and always-pagan trinity.
God speaks ANTITHESIS to prove that in the beginning the LOGOS was with God and WAS God.
He made Jesus of Nazareth TO BE both Lord and Christ and personified LOGOS.
The Logos is kurios and never theos: He is Son of a Father. He is elder brother: Pathfinder.
Deity exists at two levels: God [theou] who IS Spirit and fills the universe. In Him we live, move and have our being. Second, God is Lord or KURIOS: God uses "instrumental means" or people to exercise His Authority.
If you say that Jesus of Nazareth was in the FORM of god it is certain that you make the Spirit of the Universe into "three people about my size." John Mark Hicks would make "them" three centers of consciousness.
Task: It is required that the pagan THESIS of a separated "god"" person be DISQUALIFIED in the minds by a REAL human in all respects
The MAN Jesus of Nazareth was made to be LORD or ruler in our world: He was born of the SEED of Abraham and in His continuing role with the Apostles He is defined as a MAN. If we deny that God sent His Christ and Word in the form of audible and visible FLESH John says that we are antiChrist. Wayne Jackson and others want Jesus to have been a GOD person (Like Hermes) and to remain a GOD during His earthly reign. As such He would not be a pattern for we mortals.
When Jesus returned to the Father is is not called theou but KURIOS
Paul saw and heard this kurios who said "I am Jesus of Nazareth."
If Jesus didn't continue as the same glorified person, He would not have fulfilled His promise to be with those who teach what HE commanded until the end of the world.
In that returned state He is not called one of the three Theous but Kurios. He is still the RULER of His kingdom until the end when the SON will return the throne to the ONE REAL FATHER.
Phil 2:11 And that every tongue should confess that Jesus Christ is Lord, KURIOS
to the glory of God [theou] the Father.God made Jesus TO BE both Lord and Christ. If he had been theou one of the "sacred three" then how did theos have the power to make an "equal" into a KURIOS?
Heb. 10:9 Then said he, Lo, I come to do thy will, O God.
He taketh away the first, that he may establish the second.
Heb. 10:10 By the which will we are sanctified
through the offering of the BODY of Jesus Christ once for all.
Heb. 10:11 And every priest standeth daily ministering
and offering oftentimes the same sacrifices,
which can never take away sins:
Heb. 10:12 But this MAN, after he had offered one sacrifice for sins for ever,
sat down on the right hand of God;
Unless He lived with God in His post-resurrected and glorified state then He would not be a pattern for us. He is proof of the resurrection to glory for those who walk in His Steps (defined by His WORDS). God does not have a body of flesh and blood and bones. Jesus Messiah is a body. God made Him to be both Lord and Christ and every other quality which defines a righteous Creator. God the Father put all authority in the Name of the Son. When Satan tempted Him, Jesus had the right to exercise that right. His brothers wanted Him to go to the Feast of Tabernacles and put on His ACT: surely He could win the prize over all other poets, singers, players, actors or musicians. Instead even with the fullness of the Godhead He did not grasp or hold to that power. In order to defeat Satan in his own world or kosmos, Jesus could not exercise supernatural power other than to show compassion and prove His right to be KURIOS.
God giving Jesus GLORY proves that He was not one of the "co-equal god persons." After He sat down (a parable to fool the foolish Matthew 13) He is still called a Man.
When Israel refused to listen to God speak The Book of the Covenant and demanded a human mediator they lost the rights under the Patriarchal period of relationship with God as KURIOS as well as THEOS. Because of this loss Moses prophesied of another PROPHET like Him which the godly people would hear. The world did not stop: the godly people were quarantined to their isolated towns on the sabbath day when all of the evil, superstitious what we call WORSHIP services took place. The Jacob-cursed and God-abandoned tribe of Levi were left to carry out the "worship of the starry host" as disciples understand from Acts 7.
At the right time to free the church from SKIA which means "a totally erroneous system" called a covenant with death and hell the another prophet like Moses was sent to fulfil the mission in the scheme of God from of old.
Galatians 3:19 Wherefore then serveth the law?
It was added because of transgressions,
till the seed should come to whom the promise was made;
and it was ordained by angels in the hand of a mediator.
Galatians 3:20 Now a mediator is not a mediator of one, but God is one.
Galatians 3:17 And this I say, that the covenant,
that was confirmed before of God in Christ,
the law, which was four hundred and thirty years after,
cannot disannul, that it should make the promise of none effect.
1Timothy 2:3 For this is good and acceptable in the sight of God our Saviour;
1Timothy 2:4 Who will have all men to be saved,
and to come unto the knowledge of the truth.
1Timothy 2:5 For there is one God, [Theos]
and one mediator between God and men,
the MAN Christ Jesus;
1Timothy 2:6 Who gave himself a ransom for all, to be testified in due time.
Hebrews 8:6 But now hath he obtained a more excellent ministry,
by how much also he is the mediator of a better covenant,
which was established upon better promises.
Hebrews 9:15 And for this cause he is the mediator of the new testament,
that by means of death,
for the redemption of the transgressions that were under the first testament,
they which are called might receive the promise of eternal inheritance.
Hebrews 12:23 To the general assembly and church of the firstborn,
which are written in heaven, and to God the Judge of all,
and to the spirits of just men made perfect,
Hebrews 12:24 And to Jesus the mediator of the new covenant,
and to the blood of sprinkling,
that speaketh better things than that of Abel.
Paul is looking backward when he speaks of "Jesus Christ" or "Christ Jesus." It would be a failure of prophecy if Messiah was not the seed (sperm) of Abraham and David.
Matthew 21:15 And when the chief priests and scribes saw the wonderful things that he did,
and the children crying in the temple, and saying,
Hosanna to the Son of David; they were sore displeased,
Mark 12:35 And Jesus answered and said, while he taught in the temple,
How say the scribes that Christ is the Son of David?
Neither Abraham nor David gave birth to Deity: Scripture goes to great extremes to teach the ANTITHESIS of the always-pagan THESIS that a god person actually had intercourse with a virgin and produced a god-chid. John 1 does not mention Jesus but the WORD. In all classical trinities the WORD is the Son of the ONE GOD meaning that which the One God SPEAKS. Spirit NEVER speaks of a person but the "mind or mental disposition of that person" which is given power by their BREATH:
Psa 33:4 For the [1] WORD of the [3] Lord is right;

HERMES OR MERCURY AS THE LOGOS OF THE GREEKS AS WELL AS APOSTATE JEWS
HERMES was the LOGOS THESIS of the Greek and other pagan religions. These were always triads of gods with the "hermeneutic" principle being the authentic interpreter of the gods.
As ANTITHESIS God made Jesus to be both Lord and Christ and Grace and Word: Jesus was God's pattern of a SINGULAR Deity encompassing the always-pagan trinities of father, spirit (mother) and infant son.
Homer Hymn to Hermes
Hermes: Born with the dawning, at mid-day he played on the lyre, and in the evening he stole the cattle of far-shooting Apollo on the fourth day of the month; for on that day queenly Maia bare him. When Zeus had an affair with Mnemosyne, he coupled with her for nine consecutive nights, which produced nine daughters, who became known as the Muses.
They entertained their father and the other gods as a celestial choir on Mount Olympus.
They became deities of intellectual pursuits. Also the three Charites or Graces were born from Zeus and Eurynome. From all his children Zeus gave man all he needed to live life in an ordered and moral way.Hermes, the herald of the Olympian gods, is son of Zeus and the nymph Maia, daughter of Atlas and one of the Pleiades.
Hermes is also the god of shepherds, land travel, merchants, weights and measures, oratory, literature, athletics and thieves,
and known for his cunning and shrewdness.
He was also a minor patron of poetry.
He was worshiped throughout Greece especially in Arcadia.
Festivals in honor of Hermes were called Hermoea.Originally Hermes was a phallic god, being attached to fertility and good fortune, and also a patron of roads and boundaries. His name coming from herma, the plural being hermaiherm was a square or rectangular pillar in either stone or bronze, with the head of Hermes (usually with a beard), which adorned the top of the pillar, and male genitals near to the base of the pillar.
Euripides Ion
Hermes became best known as the swift messenger of the gods. Euripides, in his prologue to the play Ion, has Hermes introduce himself as follows:Atlas, who wears on back of bronze the ancient
Abode of the gods in heaven, had a daughter
Whose name was Maia, born of a goddess:
She lay with Zeus, and bore me, Hermes,

John 1:17 For the law was given by Moses,

Wayne Jackson: Several arguments have been employed in attempting to buttress this position. For example, it has been argued: God cannot be tempted (James 1:13); but Jesus was tempted (Matthew 4:1ff; Luke 4:1ff ). The conclusion is thus supposed to be: Jesus did not exist in the form of God.
James 1:12 Blessed is the man that endureth temptation: for when he is tried, he shall receive the crown of life, which the Lord hath promised to them that love him.
James 1:13 ¶ Let no man say when he is tempted, I am tempted of God:
for God cannot be tempted with evil, neither tempteth he any man:
Jesus did not exist until after He was born: The Spirit OF Christ spoke through the prophets and was manifested as the ROCK in the wilderness. "Messiah" is a human concept and not a deity term. John said that it was the WORD which was with God and was God. God's Words which He speaks are begotten by Him and are His Son. We do not know how The universal Spirit runs His universe. However, Jesus was MADE TO BE both Lord and Christ: ruler and Messiah BY God.

Genesis 1:27 So God created man in his own image, in the image of God created he him; male and female created he them.

"We know that as early as the age of twelve, Jesus knew exactly who his Father was and that it was his task in life to "be about his Father's business" (Luke 2:49). He was determined to fulfill all of the requirements of his mission as "Emmanuel, which being interpreted is, God with us" (Matthew 1:23).
We are further told concerning Jesus: "Who being the brightness of his glory, and the express image of his person, and upholding all things by the word of his power, when he had by himself purged our sins, sat down on the right hand of the Majesty on high" (Hebrews 1:3). Both of the key words in this verse, (express and image), are taken from the same Greek word. It is interesting that this word is charakter {khar-ak-tare'}; which means (by implication) engraving, "character", or representation. The emphasis is therefore on his conduct, rather than on his appearance.

2. Concr., a sketch, figure, drawing (lat. Lat.): figurae quae skhēmata vocant,Wayne Jackson: The logical consequence of this position is that Jesus Christ was not deity in the flesh. Advocates of this view usually do not mean to affirm explicitly that conclusion, but that is where the reasoning leads. What these writers have failed to realize, with reference to James 1:13, is that God the Father—not Christ the Son—is in view in that context. James was not discussing the nature and/or role of Christ. Thus, it is improper to generalize regarding the nature of the Lord from this brief reference.
Jesus before and after God's giving Him glory and rulership, he is called a MAN: John said that if we deny that He came FULLY in the flesh we are antichrists. Gnostics believed that He was not a MAN and they therefore try to deprive Him of His glory so that He cannot be an EXAMPLE for us to follow.

Jesus of Nazareth was the WORD of god made visible and audible.
Paul always speaks retrospectively: God made Jesus to be both Lord and Messiah (Christ). The Word and Spirit (breath) which dwelled in Jesus was the same Breath and Word God used to create all things. These things were created on earth for a future ruler. Because God does not give birth to other persons, the word personae used by trinitarians speak of all of God's instrumental or working powers which were HIS powers.
THERE IS NO EVIDENCE THAT JESUS WAS DEITY theou IN THE FLESH. God made him TO BE KURIOS

If the fullness or authority which dwelled in Jesus in the flesh was FULLY GOD; and we are baptized into Jesus; then that makes us also DEITY. The fullness of THEOS dwelled in Jesus as kurieuo,
Wayne Jackson: The text commonly appealed to as proof that Jesus did not exist on Earth in “the form of God” is Philippians 2:6.
The text does not say that JESUS existed ON EARTH as the FORM OF GOD which would mean that God is a person or people and that would be blasphemy. John makes it clear that it was the WORD which was with God and WAS God: God has His Spirit (breath) and His Word with Him but "they" are not three persons any more than as a tri-form being we are three persons.
Wayne Jackson: Here is the full context of what Paul wrote:
Have this mind in you, which was also in Christ Jesus: who, existing in the form of God, counted not the being on an equality with God a thing to be grasped, but emptied himself, taking the form of a servant, being made in the likeness of men; and being found in fashion as a man, he humbled himself, becoming obedient even unto death, yea, the death of the cross (Philippians 2:5-8, ASV).
Again, we note that Paul is speaking of the status of Jesus at that time. Again,
Rom. 1:3 Concerning his Son Jesus Christ our Lord,Jesus did not exist before he was born of Mary of the Seed of David. As Christ or Messiah he MUST be a body of flesh. It was only afterward that God made Jesus of Nazareth (crucifiable) both Lord and Christ.
which was made of the seed of David according to the flesh;
Rom. 1:4 And declared to be the Son of God with power,

that God [theōn] hath made that same Jesus, whom ye have crucified,

When Philippians was written Paul could use the term Christ Jesus or Jesus the Christ. According to all historic "trinitarians" it was the WORD of God which existed in the FORM of God: "Form" having to do with that which is spoken.
Jesus was not in the FORM of God meaning a SHAPE. Jesus was made to be both Lord and Christ and WORD and Spirit and grace and righteousness.

Wayne Jackson: Contrary to the evidence, however, it has been alleged that whereas Christ existed in the form of God prior to the incarnation, he divested himself of that status while on Earth. Finally, according to the theory under review, Jesus resumed the form-of-God nature when he returned to heaven. There is no biblical support for this concept, which violates the explicit testimony of Scripture.
Again, we note that Jesus did NOT resume the FORM of A God Person: He continued the FORM of the WORD of God and Paul makes it clear that He did NOT return AS God:
Phil 2:11 And that every tongue should confess that Jesus Christ is Lord, [KURIOS]
to the glory of God [theou] the Father. It does not disparage Jesus Christ to know that Jesus Christ is the KURIOS or ruler or king over His kingdom and High Priest over a heavenly tabernacle. He has all of the powers granted to Him by THEOU and will give them Back to God when He comes again in a visible form. At that time He will give the throne BACK to God: this shows that He is as always noted KURIOS and not THEOU.
The ROCK in the wilderness was CHRIST but not Jesus of Nazareth. God anoints whatever or whomever He wishes to be His instrumental means. The WORD was with God because it WAS God just as we always have our Word and Wisdom and Spirit with us.
Philippians 2:6 Who, being in the form of God, thought it not robbery to be equal with God:
As God exists within Himself His BREATH and WORD (in human speak) WAS God: the Only FORM we can understand of THE Spirit Who has no flesh, bones, blood or literal body parts. God IMAGED we mortals and SPOKE and it was done.
John 1:1 In the beginning was the Word, and the Word was with God, and the Word was God.Proof of inspiration is fulfilled prophecy: Messiah was not to be a God person from all eternity but the SEED (singular) of Abraham. The WORD of God was in the FORM of God. Jesus warns that truth had been hidden in parables from the foundation of the world. He refused to speak to the masses by hiding truth in plain views. HERMES was the LOGOS or the personal MESSENGER of the gods. As the ANTITHESIS God establishes that He always had His Word and Wisdom or Spirit (Breath) with Him. If God wishes to ARTICULATE and make the inaudible audible He does not need a member of the TRIAD to enable Him. God could make a human able to speak to humans. The always-pagan trinity which has no Biblical foundation makes a Singular Deity Who rules the universe INCAPABLE of communicating with those into whom He breathed the breath of life.
Jesus of Nazareth was of the seed of Abraham and David. He was not Lord or Christ until God made Him to be by giving Him authority which He did not already have. Being in the likeness of God does not mean that God looks like Jesus of Nazareth. That which preexisted was the WORD of God which is always idenfified as His SON which He begot.

The Word of God was in the form of God: Jesus spoke only what God the Father breathed into Him. Therefore, the WORD of God as that which the ONE GOD spoke is made visible and audible in the MAN Jesus of Nazareth.
Wayne Jackson: Some may feel that this is simply a matter of inconsequential semantics. However, sometimes semantics is quite important. Gospel truth is a message of words, and the Christian teacher needs to be accurate in the language he employs. May the Lord help us to be precise in the expression of biblical truth.
ALEXANDER CAMPBELL Christian Baptistt 1827: The Trinitarian System
1st. A word is a sign or representative of a thought or an idea, and is the idea in an audible or visible form. It is the exact image of that invisible thought which is a perfect secret to all the world until it is expressed.
2d. All men think or form ideas by means of words or images;
so that no man can think without words or symbols of some sort.3d. Hence it follows that the word and the idea which it represents, are co-etaneous, or of the same age or antiquity.
It is true the word may not be uttered or born for years or ages after the idea exists, but still the word is just as old as the idea.
4th. The idea and the word are nevertheless distinct from each other, though the relation between them An idea cannot exist without a word, nor a word without an idea.
5th. He that is acquainted with the word, is acquainted with the idea, for the idea is wholly in the word.
Now let it be most attentively observed and remembered, that these remarks are solely intended to exhibit
the relation which exists between a word and an idea, and that
this relation is of a mental nature,
and more akin to the spiritual system than any relation created, of which we know any thing. It is a relation of the most sublime order; and no doubt the reason why the name Word is adopted by the apostle in this sentence
was because of its superior ability to represent to us the divine relation existing
between God and the Saviour
prior to his becoming the Son of God.By putting together the above remarks on the term word, we have a full view of what John intended to communicate.
As a word is an exact image of an idea,
so is "The Word" an exact image of the invisible God.As a word cannot exist without an idea, nor an idea without a word,
so God never was without "The Word," nor "The Word" without God;or as a word is of equal age, or co-etaneous with its idea,
so "The Word" and God are co-eternal.And as an idea does not create its word nor a word its idea;
so God did not create "The Word," nor the "Word" God.Such a view does the language used by John suggest. And to this do all the scriptures agree.
For "The Word" was made flesh,
and in consequence of becoming incarnate,
He is styled the Son of God, the only Begotten of the Father.
As from eternity God was manifest in and by "The Word,"
so now God is manifest in the flesh.
As God was always with "The Word,"
so when "The Word" becomes flesh, he is Emanuel, God with us

Therefore, Jesus of Nazareth is the SON of God and God put all things under Him. If Jesus had been one three "god persons" then He would be INFERIOR if the Father gave Him all of the authority He had and HAS.
We were all created in the image (morphe) of God. We were created so that He could serve His people as opposed to most pagan religions where man was created as "labor saving devices" or robots to do the work of the gods so that they could eat, drink and make merry and laugh at the simple humans.
