The voices they hear from spiritual formation walking the Devil's Circle is not HOLY because there is no example of anyone in Holy Scripture said to worship by singing, playing instruments, acting or PAY TO PLAY for performing staff: THE meaning of an abomination in their "holy" place.

They cannot hear because, speaking of the musical and sexual play at Mount Sinai, Jude warns about our last days that they were FOREOREDAINED to this JUDGMENT. Under this this link to New Hermeneutics. the LOCUSTS led by APOLLYON are Musical Prophesiers. The musicians were SENT by God for the baptism of spirit (wind) to make the great separation:  the Chaff will be baptized with FIRE.

Rubel Shelly and John York: Rubel: Let me give you an example to work with in relation to the question you've raised: homosexuality and the ordination of practicing homosexuals to ministry.  Why don't we at least entertain the possibility that the Bible simply reflects an ANCIENT TABOO or homophobic prejudice in a few people like Paul -- a taboo and prejudice we need to outgrow?

Rick Atchley and all of the end-time "Theologians" think of "Homilectics" as a POWERFUL way to convince everyone that they are right and Scripture and the rest were not competent because of a "changed culture."  They reject the historic Scriptures and debunk Paul and therefore Jesus for claiming that "Holy Scripture is the Prophets and other prophecies Concerning Me."  All of the Scriptures contradict all modern theologians who confiscate the property of "owners" and turn it into a rhetorical-musical performance.  They are obliged to do so because Jesus identified Scribes, Pharisees, Hypocrites for those performing sermons for money, singers or instrument players. The MARK was of people who have no intention or ability to Teach that which has been taught.  The Holy Spirit inspired the Prophets but not the Priests, Levites or Kings. SPIRIT is a parable word to HIDE from the Wise, Sophists as rhetoricians, singers or instrument players. God puts His WORD into the MOUTH of A Moses, the Prophets and for the very last time, the MAN Jesus whom God MADE to be lord and Christ 30 years after he came IN THE FLESH.

But ye do all to ill report and dishonor. Hear ye not the Prophet, saying, "Serve the Lord with fear, and rejoice unto Him with trembling?" (Ps. ii. 11) But ye are wholly without restraint. Is it not possible both to enjoy pleasure, and to do so with safety?

Art thou desirous of hearing beautiful songs? Best of all indeed, thou oughtest not; nevertheless,

I condescend if thou wilt have it so: do not hear those Satanic ones, but the spiritual.

Art thou desirous of seeing choirs of dancers? Behold the choir of Angels. And how is it possible, saith one, to see them?

If thou drive away all these things, even Christ will come to such a marriage, and Christ being present, the choir of Angels is present also. If thou wilt, He will even now work miracles as He did then; He will make even now the water, wine (John ii.); and what is much more wonderful, He will convert this unstable and dissolving pleasure, this cold desire, and change it into the spiritual. This is to make of water, wine.

Where pipers are, by no means there is Christ; but even if He should have entered,

He first casts these forth, and then He works His wonders. What can be more disagreeable than this Satanic pomp?

where everything is inarticulate, everything without significancy; and if there be anything articulate, again all is shameful, all is noisome.

Luke 4:16 And he came to Nazareth, where he had been brought up:
        and, as his custom was, [PATTERN]
        he went into the synagogue on the sabbath day,
        and stood up for to READ.
Acts 13:15 And after the READING of the law and the PROPHETS
        the rulers of the synagogue sent unto them, saying,
        Ye men and brethren, if ye have any word of exhortation [COMFORT] for the people, say on.

Matt. 13:4 And when he sowed,
        some seeds fell by the way side,
        and the fowls came and devoured them up:
Rev. 18:2 And he cried mightily with a strong voice, saying,
        Babylon the great is fallen, is fallen, and is become the habitation of DEVILS,
        and the hold of every foul spirit, and a cage of every unclean and hateful bird.

What are the "birds of the air"? Demons! They try to get us when we are young in the church. Like the lion of I Peter 5, they go for the stragglers, the weak, and the newborn, because they are the easy pickings. What is step one of Satan's plan against the church? Attack God's people early in their calling. Distract them. Persecute them. Crush them—before they are strong enough to resist.
        Birds are naturally attracted to the taste of the mustard seed. Matthew identifies the birds of the air as "the wicked one"  Matthew 13:4, 19). Mark connects them with "Satan" (Mark 4:4, 15), and Luke links them to "the devil" (Luke 8:5, 12). In Genesis 15:11, fowls swoop down on Abraham's sacrifices, and he has to drive them away (see Deuteronomy 28:26). The end-time Babylon becomes "a habitation of demons, a prison for every foul spirit, and a cage for every unclean and hated bird" (Revelation 18:2).
Matt. 13:37 He answered and said unto them,
        He that soweth the good seed is the Son of man;
Matt. 13:38 The field is the world;
        the good seed are the children of the kingdom;
         but the tares are the children of the WICKED ONE

The Corinthians say (and the Lesbians agree) that the most marvellous thing [Lying Wonders] that happened to him in his life was the landing on Taenarus of Arion of Methymna, brought there by a dolphin. This Arion was a lyre-player second to none in that age; he was the first man whom we know to compose and name the dithyramb which he afterwards taught at Corinth.

1 The dithyramb was a kind of dance-music particularly associated with the cult of Dionysus.

"For in the city of Ephesus, women, attired as they go in the feasts and sacrifice of [Dionysus] Bacchus, came out to meet him with such solemnities and ceremonies as are then used: with men and children disguised like fauns and satyrs [Therion=Beasts] Moreover, the city was full of ivy, and darts wreathed about with ivy, [Thyrus: shaken reed with hidden spear]  psalterions , flutes, and howboyes [hautboys]; and in their songs they called him Bacchus, father of mirth, courteous and gentle: and so was he unto some, but to the most part of men cruel and extreme. "There is major disagreement on whether one should use the Bible to undergird doctrines in a "proof-texting way, or whether one should allow doctrine to emerge from understanding texts in their literary and historical contexts. Certainly these differing views of Scripture lie behind differing views of women in the church" (p. 90).

"The Bible is not so much a 'heaven-sent answer book' as a historical book produced within and for a historical community-- yet it serves as Scripture today because people find themselves accountable to it. That is what make its Scripture" (WOMEN IN THE CHURCH: Reclaiming the Ideal, p. 46).

"...but another step must be taken if the text would actually become Scripture and that is to engage the text in dialogue to ask, 'Now that I understand the meaning of this text for today, can I accept this" (p. 47).

Saltatio   Dancing was originally closely connected with religion. Plato thought all dancing should be based on religion, as it was, he says, among the Egyptians. It has been shown under Chorus that the chorus in the oldest times consisted of the whole population of a city, who met in a public place to offer up thanksgivings to the god of their country by singing hymns and performing dances. These dances, which, like all others, were accompanied by music,

Job said of the organ players who were probably star worshippers

They take the timbrel and harp, and rejoice (make merry) at the sound of the organ. Jb.21:12
........ Therefore they say unto God, Depart from us; for we desire not the knowledge of thy ways. Jb 21:14

The sexual context of the organ is well documented throughout history:

"It (the pipe meaning to love passionatelyí) was apparently a secular instrument and is never listed in the temple orchestra; only in Ps. 150:4 it is mentioned in a religious (but not ritual) function. Its ethos was not blameless at all, ase we see from Genesis Rabbah 50:

"The angels said to Lot: There are players of the pipe (organ) in the country, hence it ought to be destroyed. Its rabbinical identification with the aboda, the flute of the notorious Syrian bayaderes, emphasizes the erotic element which already the Hebrew name suggests. GOD:  Jesus and the tiny flock of Lost Spirits. In the World (Kosmos, Ecumenical, Kingdom of Satan) but not OF the World know that Holy Scriptures knows of no Command, Example or remote inference of anything remotely MUSICAL.

Music.  Cantillation signs guide the READER in applying a chant to Biblical READINGS. This chant is technically regarded as a ritualized form of speech intonation rather than as a musical exercise like the singing of metrical hymns: for this reason Jews always speak of saying or reading a passage rather than of singing it. (In Yiddish the word is leynen 'read', derived from Latin legere, giving rise to the Jewish English verb "to leyn".)

God put His WORDS into the MOUTH of A Moses, the Prophets and lastly the Man Jesus whom God made to be both Lord and Christ.  That is the meaning of SPIRIT.  God's SPIRIT produces WORDS "once delivered to the saints."

Jesus SPOKE what this SPIRIT delivered to Him without measure or METRON meaning musical melody.  God supplied no LYRIC words to mark those who Speak on their own as the "sons of the Devil."

http://www.pineycom.com/Cantillation.2.html

The Philipedium: In most western European languages, the word for “read” starts with the letter “L”. These languages can be divided into two main groups — those of Latin origin and those of Germanic origin. In each of the Latin languages (Italian, Spanish, French, etc.), the modern word is derived from legere, the Latin word for “read”. The Italian word is still leggere, essentially unchanged from the Latin. In the other Romance languages, the “g” sound was lost, and so we have leer in Spanish, ler in Portuguese, and lire in French.

(Note: The Old Testament understands that instrumental music--called NOISE--was authorized only in certain dedicatory or purification rituals associated with the temple and with Jerusalem. Without both there was never any rationale for instrument to make a great crashing sound during animal sacrifices.)

"At the dedication of the later edifice, the priests blew the trumpets at the same time that the Levites sang and played upon instruments of music,

so as 'to make one sound;' but it is evident that on that great occasion of rejoicing, what was aimed at was not musical harmony, but a powerful crash of jubilant sound. We are shut up to the conclusion that

there was nothing in the tabernacle-worship, as ordered by Moses, which could be justly characterized as instrumental music." (George Girardeau, Instrumental Music, p. 29 - a Presbyterian)

RELIGIOUS SINGERS OR FLUTE-GIRLS WERE ALWAYS PROSTITUTES--MALE OR FEMALE

Worship.Androgyny.The.Pagan.Sexual.Ideal

Ishtar was the prototype for the Greek Aphrodite and Roman Venus and a host of other deities—and was identified with the planet Venus as the morning and evening star. The Bible equates the worship of pagan deities with the worship of demons (Deuteronomy 32:16-17; Psalms 106:35-38; 1 Corinthians 10:20). And it’s intriguing to see that Scripture refers to Satan in his rebellion as Lucifer, the morning star (Isaiah 14:12). The devil is the real personage behind the false deity.

The Zondervan Illustrated Bible Backgrounds Commentary mentions the androgyny or gender ambiguity of Ishtar in its note on Deuteronomy 22:5 (2009, Vol. 1, p. 493), citing an enlightening source we now turn to— Gender and Aging in Mesopotamia: The Gilgamesh Epic and Other Ancient Literature by Rivkah Harris (2000).

Ishtar, Harris explains, “is androgynous, marginal, ambiguous … She is betwixt and between … Central to the goddess as paradox is her well-attested psychological and physiological androgyny. Inanna-Ishtar is both female and male … [in one place stating] ‘Though I am a woman I am a noble young man’” (pp. 160, 163).

She shattered all gender and socioeconomic distinctions—being both a royal queen and “the harlot of heaven … set out for the alehouse” (p. 166). And in all this she was the role model for her followers. Among her powers was this from a Sumerian poem: “To turn a man into a woman and a woman into a man are yours, Inanna” (p. 160).

In the Descent of Ishtar we are told of some participants in her cult: “The male prostitutes comb their hair before her … They decorate the napes of their necks with colored bands … They gird themselves with the sword belt … Their right side they adorn with women’s clothing … Their left side they cover with men’s clothing …” (p. 170). The revel and competition ended in a bloody spectacle of self-cutting (compare 1 Kings 18:28).

Harris states: “Their transvestitism simulated the androgyny of Inanna-Ishtar. It was perhaps the inversion of the male/female binary opposition that thereby neutralized this opposition. By emulating their goddess who was both female and male, they shattered the boundary between the sexes” (pp. 170-171). This was seen as a way of rising above the prison of the flesh.

In Genesis 1 Adam was made of DUST meaning that he was an Aborigine.  God made them male and female the ANTITHESIS of Babylonianism which resurfaces in Revelation 17.  The Mother Prostitute goddess could be male or female and her priests in Revelation 18 are "lusted after fruits" (as in Amos 8).  They serve as ANY or ALL religious crafts, singers, players of instruments and Go calls them SORCERERS using the tithe original Semiramis. That is why they will all be CAST ALIVE INTO THE LAKE OF FIRE.

Almost all of those seeing godliness as a means of financial gain use ALL mentions of singing with or without instruments as a way to "save more souls" an confiscate your property.

ALL words such as witchcraft, charming, enchantment or Sorcery uses music as a MEANS of "conversion" or "subversion" of all opposition.

All religious singers or musicians are "cunning craftsmen or sophist" replacing SCRIPTURE with their own songs or sermons as justification for picking the widow's purse.  Jesus said that "God Hides" from these self-authoring speakers, singers or instrument players.

Religious musicians or even those who, as parasites, will do ANYTHING to eat at the rich man's table.

Whatever the "preferences" of priesthoods or preacher hoods beyond "teaching that which has been taught" demonstrate a PERSONA which causes up to half of a congregation to FLEE.

The command is to SPEAK that which is written for our learning.  Based on the number of Disciples (students) alive at this time, it is reasonable to say that centered around the RIGHT TIME there has been no greater SPIRITUAL and many PHYSICAL tribulation when your church as Safe House is taken from you with strong psychological violence.

"Singing served as a means of inducing ecstatic prophecy (speaking in tongues). Thus the essential relationship between music and prophecy can be clearly seen. This relationship also explains why the expression for "making music" and "prophesying" was often identical in the ancient tongues. origen contra celsum 8.67.

Wolf   This now archaic term was used in New York's homosexual underworld early in the 20th Century to refer to an adult man who pursued boys as sexual partners. The wolf often identified as heterosexual, and his sexual behavior fit the pattern of Greco-Roman pederasty. This form of same-sex eroticism may have come to New York via Italian immigrants. In many regions of Italy at the time, pederasty was tolerated, or at least not as stigmatized as it is today.

1.17 The pleasures of Lucretilis

Tempt Faunus from his Grecian seat;
He keeps my little goats in bliss [capella=She Goats]
Apart from wind, and rain, and heat.

In safety rambling o'er the sward

For arbutes and for thyme they peer,
The ladies of the unfragrant lord,
Nor vipers, green with venom, fear,
Nor savage wolves, of Mars' own breed,

My Tyndaris, while Ustica's dell

Is vocal with the silvan reed,
And music thrills the limestone fell.
Heaven is my guardian; heaven approves
A blameless life, by song made sweet;
Come hither, and the fields and groves

Their horn shall empty at your feet.

Here, shelter'd by a friendiy tree,
In Teian measures you shall sing
Bright Circe and Penelope,
Love-smitten both by one sharp sting.

Here shall you quaff beneath the shade

Sweet Lesbian draughts that injure none,
Nor fear lest Mars the realm invade
Of Semele's Thyonian son,
Lest Cyrus on a foe too weak
Lay the rude hand of wild excess,
His passion on your chaplet wreak,
Or spoil your undeserving dress.

KAIROS (or Caerus) was the spirit (daimon) of opportunity, the youngest divine son of Zeus. He was depicted as a youth with a long lock of hair hanging down from his forehead, which indicated that Opportunity could only be grasped as he approached.

PersEnc. isocrates A degree of relativism underlies his belief that rhetoric should concern itself with what is appropriate (prepon) and comes at the right TIME (kairos). But like Plato Isocrates attacks “sophists” (whom he sees as rivals) for having no moral values, and he affirms his own belief in rather traditional moral values, arguing that it is the job of rhetoric to express these. Novelty is important in the expression of one's views but not in the views themselves.

So he spoke, and the minstrel, moved by the god, began, and let his song be heard, [500] taking up the tale where the Argives had embarked on their benched ships and were sailing away, after casting fire on their huts, while those others led by glorious Odysseus were now sitting in the place of assembly of the Trojans, hidden in the horse; for the Trojans had themselves dragged it to the citadel.

Gary Holloway Ecumenical: First, [ecumenical] is biblical. “Ecumenical” is from the Greek word oikoumena, which is used 15 times in the New Testament for “the entire inhabited world.” The most interesting passage that relates to the modern meaning is Matthew 24:14: “And this gospel of the kingdom will be preached in the whole world as a testimony to all nations, and then the end will come.”

Further, there were impostors of all varieties: magicians, soothsayers, jugglers, deceivers and hypocrites, 'who appeared using mighty words with a host of unintelligible formulae and taking up with scandalous ceremonies in order to rob men of their money." ALSO OF THE SECTS SILENCED IN ROMANS 14

"The Orphic creeds were the basis of the Pythagorean brotherhood, which flourished in southern Italy beginning in the 6th century bc. The Pythagoreans were aristocratic fraternities that sometimes had a political scope. Their main achievements, however, lay in the fields of music, geometry, and astronomy. They discovered that these subjects could be explained by numbers and ratios. Combining Orphic eschatology (the study of the last things, especially death and afterlife) with their discoveries, they invested music, geometry, and astronomy with religious values. According to their doctrine, the original home of the soul was in the stars. From there ... (100 of 10,561 words)

"In cultic action music was used in preparation for prophecy. Julius Firmicus Maternus refers to this fact in his remarks on an African cult.

With the air full of flute music,
the priests would put on women's clothing and
then call on the goddess so that,
filled with a wicked spirit, they might
predict the future to foolish men.

"In considering this cultic background it is necessary to understand the

view of music as dispositive to divination,
a view which derives from pagan philosophy.

This opinion resided in the old Pythagorean school, as Cicero notes. The Stoa also recognized the employment of music in the service of divination. According to Stoic teaching, ascesis and listen to music were preparations for the ecstasy which, along with purity of heart and a relationship with God, was considered to be the most favorable condition for prophesying.

The notion which was basic to this conception was closely connected with belief in the purifying power of music. In both instances there was a question of eleminating tensions and obstacles in man which could stand in the way of the infusion of the divine and its revelation. (Quasten, Johannes, pg. 40)

Abaddon-Apollon as leader of the muses (Locusts) was called the WASHER claiming that the music-induced madness purified the soul.

Lucian.Timon.

Hermes, and take Plutus with you. Thesaurus is to accompany Plutus, and they are both to stay with Timon, and not leave him so lightly this time, even though the generous fellow does his best to find other hosts for them. As to those parasites, and the ingratitude they showed him, I will attend to them before long; they shall have their deserts as soon as I have got the thunderbolt in order again. Its two best spikes are broken and blunted; my zeal outran my discretion the other day when I took that shot at Anaxagoras the sophist;
       homilētas the Gods non-existent, indeed! that was what he was telling his disciples.
        However, I missed him (Pericles had held up his hand to shield him),

Xen. Mem. 1.2.11 Besides, many supporters are necessary to him who ventures to use force: but he who can persuade needs no confederate, having confidence in his own unaided power of persuasion. And such a man has no occasion to shed blood; for who would rather take a man's life than have a live and willing follower?

But his accuser argued thus.

Xen. Mem. 1.2.12] Among the associates of Socrates were Critias and Alcibiades;
        and none wrought so many evils to the state. For Critias in the days of the oligarchy bore the palm for greed and violence: Alcibiades, for his part, exceeded all in licentiousness and insolence under the democracy.
12-48. The fact that Alcibiades and Critias wrought great evil in the state should not be laid to the account of Socrates. They were impelled by measureless ambition and lust for power; and in Socrates they only sought a man from whom they could learn the art of persuasion, so as to win thereby positions of political influence. But they sufficiently showed in the sequel that they had not learned to imitate the character and life of their teacher. Socrates did not fail to set before them the attractions of a virtuous life; and, in fact, so long as they remained with him, they showed moderation. But virtue must be practiced to be retained; and they quickly fell a prey to all manner of temptations after leaving Socrates. For this he is not to be held responsible, the less so as he reproached them severely for their unworthy conduct,—incurring thereby the hate of Critias, as he later had cause to know. Thus they only followed their own natural bent after leaving Socrates; while many other friends of Socrates remained true through life to the principles of virtue which they had learned from him.

12. ephē ge: with marked emphasis, like Mark Antony's ‘But Brutus says he was ambitious.’

genomenō: the katēgoros seems to insinuate a causal, as well as a temporal, force of the participle; post hoc, propter hoc.

Kritias: son of Callaeschrus, was one of the thirty men who were placed in power at Athens (by the aid of the victorious Lacedaemonians) at the close of the Peloponnesian war (404 B.C.). He took a prominent part in the cruelties practiced by the Thirty, and fell in the final conflicts with the Liberators under Thrasybulus. He had associated, as a young man, with Socrates and Gorgias of Leontini, and was a poet and dramatist of some repute. For an account of his activity, see Hell. ii.3.11 ff.

Alkibiadēs: son of Clinias, born at Athens about 450 B.C.; he was distinguished for his personal beauty, talents, and wealth, and was notorious for his reckless profligacy. Socrates took great interest in him, and seems in return to have been respected and loved by him. At the siege of Potidaea (432 B.C.) Socrates saved his life, a service which Alcibiades returned by aiding Socrates at the battle of Delium (424 B.C.). For his connection with the Sicilian expedition (415 B.C.), see Thuc. vi, passim. Plutarch brackets him with Coriolanus in the Parallel Lives.

tēn polin: for the double acc., see G. 1073; H. 725 a.

en oligarkhia: i.e. in 404 B.C., when the Thirty, with Critias at their head, were in power at Athens. Cf. Hell. ii. 3. 11 ff. See on nomothetēs 31. Aeschines (Contra Timarchum 173) says, with exaggeration, epeit' humeis, ō Athēnaioi, Sōkratē men ton sophistēn apekteinate, hoti Kritian ephanē pepaideukōs, hena tōn triakonta tōn ton dēmon katalusantōn (who overthrew the democracy).

kleptistatos, biaiotatos: so, in ii. 6. 24, khrēmata te kleptein kai biazesthai anthrōpous are mentioned as low motives for attaining power in the state.

en dēmokratia: refers to the public and private life of Alcibiades, down to his return to the army at Samos in 411. See Grote, Hist. of Greece, cc. lv, lxiii.

Xen. Mem. 1.2.13 Now I have no intention of excusing the wrong these two men wrought the state; but I will explain how they came to be with Socrates.
