The PATTERN of all Theologians (mythologists in the texts) is that the proof texts where "spirit" is used, it is proof of the TRINITY. Trinity is used to make the Spirit OF God mean 'THE Holy Spirit as a third God person."

Walter Brueggeman "Well, to make a long story short,
        the authors of the Bible
had their own particular godly MOTIVES

        aren't always written in front of us.

Indeed, it is the rush by Christocentric interpreters
        to find Christ in the Old Testament
        that led (and still leads) to most of these kind of ABUSES,
        for “the truth about Christ justified the exegetical methods” (22).

But, do notice Stanglin’s affirmations:
        “If Scripture indeed has to do ultimately with Jesus Christ,
        then one must account for the fact that the Old Testament,
        with the exception of a few fairly overt messianic prophecies,
        is silent about him” (42). Quite right,

The Mother Goddess at all once-Christian Universities.
Rubel Shelly Baptizing the S.U.N. god
Goddess of the Sun: Greeks never called Athena a Sun Goddess outright, in fact they stubbornly maintained Apollon was the Sun deity, even when this had foolish results. Titling him 'Phoebas,' a feminine monicker which made him a 'lunar Sun' .

Snakes are interwoven with a great deal of provocative symbolism. Their coiling bodies suggested the spiral, itself used to represent the Sun and the eyes of the Goddess. The coiled snake also suggests the coiled thread Athena used while weaving, and the ball of thread Ariadne used to escape the labyrinth. Athena is related to Ariadne by being a psychompomp, a role already mentioned in the main section in speaking of a small statue of Athena found in an Attic tomb with snakes for arms.

Sun Goddesses were frequently psychopompes, [conductoresses of dead SPIRITS] and the labyrinth was itself connected to the Sun. It's entrance was carefully faced East to catch the first sunlight of the day. Patricia Monaghan's research has also shown that the labyrinth accurately charts the Sun's path in the sky in the far North. Travelling the labyrinth made rebirth possible, whether if be by the Goddess leading the dead from its centre beneath the ground, or the priestess Ariadne guiding initiates through it for a spiritual rebirth.

Winding up the thread originally recreated the globe of the Sun, rebirthing the Sun Goddess herself. The ubiquitous pools near labyrinths or Cretan Goddess temples were probably meant to act as mirrors. The Sun's reflection was used for divination, rather than the endless circling of the fish.

God pours out His BREATH which produces ONLY Words.

        they are , and they are life.

THE REVELATION OF GOD AS TRIUNE.

Father, Son and Holy Spirit are to be known only in a perfect unity, in closest interaction and unity, before all creation--Greory of Nyssa

    For the prophets were not when the world came into existence, but the wisdom [Spirit in this instance is Sophia] of God which was in Him, and

.         His holy Word which was always present with Him.

Gregory of Nyssa

But the Son, having all things which are the Father's,
        is Himself proclaimed a King by Holy Scripture.
        Now the Divine Scripture says that the Holy Spirit IS THE UNCTION
of the Only-Begotten (Acts x. 38.) ,
        interpreting the dignity of the Spirit by a transference of the terms commonly used in this world. [
UNCTION]

John 10:36 Say ye of him, whom the Father hath SANCTIFIED, and sent into the world,
        Thou blasphemest; because I said, I am the Son of God?

For as, in ancient days, in those who were advanced to kingship, the token of this dignity was the unction which was applied to them, and when this took place there was thenceforth a change from private and humble estate to the superiority of rule, and he who was deemed worthy of this grace received after his anointing another name, being called, instead of an ordinary man, the Anointed of the Lord:

for this reason, that the dignity of the Holy Spirit might be more clearly shown to men, He was called by the Scripture "the sign of the Kingdom," and "Unction,"

whereby we are taught that the Holy Spirit shares in the glory and kingdom of the Only-begotten Son of God. For as in Israel it was not permitted to enter upon the kingdom without the unction being previously given, so the word, by a transference of the terms in use among ourselves, indicates the equality of power,

showing that not even the kingdom of the Son is received without the dignity of the Holy Spirit. And for this reason He is properly called Christ, since this name gives the proof of His inseparable and indivisible conjunction with the Holy Spirit. If, then, the Only-begotten God is the Anointed, and the Holy Spirit is His Unction, and the appellation of Anointed points to the Kingly authority, and the anointing is the token of His Kingship, then the Holy Spirit shares also in His dignity. If, therefore, they say that the attribute of Godhead is significative of dignity, and the Holy Spirit is shown to share in this last quality,

Peter makes the same statement but we are not another God person.

2Pet. 1:4 Whereby are given unto us exceeding great and precious promises:
        that by these ye might be partakers of the divine nature,
        having escaped the corruption that is in the WORLD  through lust.

YOU CANNOT POUR A GOD PERSON
Acts 10:38 How GOD ANOINTED Jesus of Nazareth
        with the Holy Spirit [mind, mental disposition: never a people]
        and with power:
        who went about doing good, and healing all that were oppressed of the devil;
                for God was with him.

This verse proves that the Holy Spirit is NOT GOD but something the FATHER gives.

God gave Jesus A holy spirit when He was baptized to enable his hearing God. Of those who claim that Jesus even claimed to be God:

John 10:36 Say ye of him,
        whom the FATHER hath sanctified,
        and sent into the world,
        Thou blasphemest; because I said, I am the Son of God?

Gregory agrees: And let no one attribute the power of sanctification in an ESPECIAL sense to the Spirit,
            when he hears the Saviour in the Gospel saying to the Father concerning His disciples,

           "Father, sanctify them in
Thy name (Cf. S. John xvii. 11 and John xvii.17.)."

The Father, the Son, and the Holy Spirit alike give sanctification, and life, and light, and comfort, and all similar graces. And let no one attribute the power of sanctification in an especial sense to the Spirit, when he hears the Saviour in the Gospel saying to the Father concerning His disciples, "Father, sanctify them in Thy name (Cf. S. John xvii. 11 and John xvii.17.)." (His name is Jehovah-Saves or Jesus)

But if the GIFT of the Holy Spirit is principally a grace of the soul, and the constitution of the soul is linked by its intellectuality and invisibility to the angelic life, what person who knows how to see a consequence would not agree, that every intellectual nature is governed by the ordering of the Holy Spirit?

The SPIRIT or BREATH produces DIVINE WORDS OR INFORMATION. OF is a preposition

The "spirit" which would rest upon Jesus would not be a second person:
        AND there shall come forth a rod out of the stem of Jesse, and a Branch shall grow out of his roots: Isaiah 11:1

        And the
spirit OF the Lord shall rest upon him, the spirit OF WISDOM and understanding,
        the spirit
OF counsel and might, the spirit OF knowledge and OF the fear of the Lord; Isaiah 11:2
        And shall make him of quick understanding in the fear of the Lord: a
        nd he shall not judge after the sight of his eyes, neither reprove after the hearing of his ears: Isaiah 11:3

1Cor. 6:11 And such were some of you:
        but ye are washed, [baptized]
        but ye are sanctified, [given a holy spirit]
        but ye are justified
        IN the name of the Lord Jesus,
        and BY the Spirit
OF OUR GOD
Jude 1 Jude, the servant of Jesus Christ, and brother of James,
        to them that are sanctified by God the Father,
        and preserved in Jesus Christ, and called:
John 5:19 Then answered Jesus and said unto them, Verily, verily, I say unto you,
        The Son can do nothing of himself,
        but what he seeth the Father do:
        for what things soever he doeth,
        these also doeth the Son likewise.

Leonard Allen Lipscoomb Through the word Trinity is not a biblical word,
        a threefold pattern of divine revelation permeated the New Testament.

The pattern or TRIAD taught by scholars is:
        God Thinks
        God Breaths
        God Speaks.

Or the Only God our Father informs
God's Spirit which breathes
The Man Jesus of Nazareth Who makes visible and audible as the WORD.

There is a deep, almost [60] unreflective recognition
        of the diversity and unity of God by the New Testament writers,
        and their language about this relationality
        becomes the raw material for what later became Trinitarian orthodoxy.

Mal. 3:6 For I am the Lord, I change not; therefore ye sons of Jacob are not consumed.

As Gordon Fee puts it, "Paul affirms, asserts, and presupposes the trinity in every way, and those affirmations ...are precisely the reason the later church too. up the question of how."

John Calvin on Genesis One is in agreement with the explanations of the Nicene Creed:

Moreover I acknowledge that the Scripture, although it recites many powers of the Godhead, yet always recalls us to the Father, and his Word, and spirit, as we shall shortly see.  But those absurdities, to which I have alluded, forbid us with subtlety to distort what Moses simply declares concerning God himself, by applying it to the separate Persons of the Godhead.

This, however, I regard as beyond controversy, that from the peculiar circumstance of the passage itself, a title is here ascribed to God, expressive of that powers which was previously in some way included in his eternal essence.   Christians, therefore, properly contend, from this testimony, that there exists a plurality of Persons (personae in the church Fathers) in the Godhead.

God summons no foreign counsellor; hence we infer that he

finds within himself something distinct; as, in truth,
his eternal
wisdom and power reside within him.
Christians, therefore, properly contend, from this testimony, that there exists a plurality of Persons (personae in the church Fathers) in the Godhead.

He hath made the earth by his power,
he hath established the world by his wisdom,
and hath
stretched out the heaven by his understanding. Jer 51:15

When he uttereth his voice, there is a multitude of waters in the heavens;
and he
causeth the vapours to ascend from the ends of the earth:
he
maketh lightnings with rain,
and
bringeth forth the wind out of his treasures. Jer 51:16

Theophiulus of Antioch was the first to use the word "trias"

God, then, having His own Word internal within His own bowels,
........... begat Him, emitting Him
........... along with His own wisdom before all things.

He had this Word as a helper in the things that were created by Him, and by Him He made all things.

He is called "governing principle", because He rules, and is Lord of all things fashioned by Him.
He, then, being
Spirit of God, and governing principle, and wisdom, and power of the highest,
came down upon the prophets
, and through them spoke of the creation of the world and of all other things.
(This was the Spirit of Christ, 1 Peter 1:11; Revelation 19:10)

For the prophets were not when the world came into existence,

but the wisdom [Spirit in this instance is Sophia] of God which was in Him, and
........... His holy Word which was always present with Him.

Augustine A Treatise on Fath and the Creed wrote:

But God,

        when He begot the Word,
        begot that which He is Himself.

Neither out of nothing, nor of any material already made and founded did He then beget;
        but He begot of Himself that which He is Himself.

God the Father, on the other hand, who possessed both the will and the power
        to declare Himself with the utmost truth to minds designed to obtain knowledge of Him,

        with the purpose of thus declaring Himself begot this [Word]
        which He Himself is who did beget;
        which [Person] is likewise called His Power and Wisdom,
        inasmuch as it is by Him that He has wrought all things, and in order disposed them;
        of whom these words are for this reason spoken:
        "She (Wisdom) reacheth from one end to another mightily,
        and sweetly doth she order all things. "

Paul clearly contrasts OUR FLESH with OUR SPIRIT: Paul never uses SPIRIT as a god necessary for the Words of Jesus to be INTELLIGIBLE.

Jesus of Nazareth in His Glorified state was given the PROMISE or the Evangelistic Task as HOLY SPIRIT.  There is no THE THERE.

Acts 22:8 And I answered, Who art thou, Lord? And he said unto me,
         I am Jesus of Nazareth, whom thou persecutest
Acts 26:15 And I said, Who art thou, Lord? And he said,
         I am Jesus whom thou persecutest.

Acts 26:16 But rise, and stand upon thy feet:
        for I have appeared unto thee for this purpose,
         to make thee a minister and a witness
        both of these things which thou hast seen,
        and of those things in the which I will appear unto thee;

The Holy Spirit which spoke to Paul on to Paul on the road to Bithynia is called the Spirit OF JESUS.

There is a reason that we wee little people insist that we Speak where the Bible speaks and be silent where the Bible is silent. Each and every time people fall into Theology (defines as the study of Apollon) the AFFIRM that God was just too ignorant to supply proof.

God put His WORDS directly into the MOUTH of the Prophes.  Spirit is used figuratively or as a parable to define that process. God had Isaiah define the future church both inclusively and exclusively. Defining those who peep and mutter-- using music to silence the Word.  Isaiah concludes.

Is. 8:20 To the law and to the testimony:
        if they speak not according to this WORD,
        it is because there is no light in them.

"In Paul's writings, this threefold pattern can be demonstrated from two sets of texts: several are explicit Trinitarian, and many more focusing on ""salvation in Christ" that are less explicit but with a clear Trinitarian pattern that are not explicit.

Historic scholarship supports Scripture that God, in contrast to all pagan gods, is Thought, Breath (spirit) and Word.  God gave Jesus ALL of these roles to IMAGE FORTH in the singular MAN.

THE BIBLICAL PAUL ASSERTS TO SILENCE BOTH MALE AND FEMALE WHO WANTED TO MEDIATE IN SONG AND SERMON.
1Tim. 2:5 For there is ONE GOD
        and one MEDIATOR   between God and men,
        the MAN Christ Jesus;
Rom. 15:6 That ye may with one mind and one mouth glorify GOD, [Theos]
        even the Father
        of our Lord [Kurios] Jesus Christ.
Jesus was born IN THE FLESH before he was MADE TO BE BOTH LORD AND CHRIST
Acts 2:36 Therefore let all the house of Israel know assuredly,
        that God HATH MADE that same Jesus,
        whom ye have crucified, both Lord and Christ.
Rom. 14:9 For to this end Christ both died, and rose, and revived,
        THAT HE MIGHT BE Lord both of the dead and living.
Rev. 1:5 And from Jesus Christ,
        who is the faithful witness,
        and the first begotten of the dead,
        and the prince of the kings of the earth.
        Unto him that loved us,
        and washed us from our sins in his own blood,
Rom. 3:30 Seeing it is one God,
        which shall justify the circumcision by faith, and uncircumcision through faith.
1Cor. 8:4 As concerning therefore the eating of those things that are offered in sacrifice unto idols,
        we know that an idol is nothing in the world,
        and that there is none other God but one.
1Cor. 8:5 For though there be that are called gods, whether in heaven or in earth,
        (as there be gods many, and lords many,)
1Cor. 8:6 But to us there is but ONE GOD, the Father,
                OF whom are all things, and we in him;
        and ONE LORD Jesus Christ,
                BY whom are all things, and we by him.

There is ONE GOD the Father and Jesus is LORD, therefore, Jesus is NOT the One God.
God is NOT STUPID as boasted: He could have said that Jesus was ANOTHER God.

Leonard Allen says that The Holy Spirit God person resurrected Jesus.

Acts 3:26 Unto you first God, [God is SPIRIT]
        having raised up his Son Jesus,
        sent him to bless you,
        in turning away every one of you from his iniquities.

Of those who wanted to see the FATHER and perhaps MOTHER (spirit) Jesus affirmed that He was the singular image of both the Father and Spirit.  Spirit was never a PERSON and Jesus said that My WORDS are SPIRIT.  You could see and hear the Father and Spirit in the ONLY Way God identified His full authority.

All scholars note that Paul NEVER speaks of "SPIRIT" as a member of the family of gods. Spirit is to FLESH: Spirit is never to PERSON.
Rom. 8:1 There is therefore now no condemnation to them
        which are IN Christ Jesus,
        who WALK not after the FLESH,
        but [who walk] after the SPIRIT.
gl4043 peripateoto live, deport oneself,

Rom. 8:3 For what the law could not do, in that it was weak through the

        etc., or (superhuman) an angel, demon, or (divine) God,
Notice that MIND [mind. Compare 5590] is parallel to SPIRIT
SPIRIT is contrasted to FLESH or the LAW

Rom. 8:6 For to be CARNALLY minded is death;
         but to be SPIRITUALLY MINDED is life and peace.
Rom. 8:7 Because the carnal MIND is enmity against God:
            for it is not subject to the law
OF God, neither indeed can be.
Rom. 8:8 So then they that are in the
FLESH, cannot please God.
Rom. 8:9 But ye are not IN THE
FLESH, but IN THE SPIRIT,
          if so be that the Spirit OF GOD dwell in you.
          Now if any man have not the *Spirit OF CHRIST, he is none of his.

JESUS HIDES TRUTH FROM THOSE WHO SELL HIM AT RETAIL BY CORRUPTING THE WORD:

Gal. 4:22 For it is written,
        that Abraham had two sons, the one by a bondmaid, the other by a freewoman.
Gal. 4:23 But he who was of the bondwoman was born after the flesh;
        but he of the freewoman was by promise.
Gal. 4:24 Which things are an ALLEGORY:
        for these are the two covenants;
        he one from the mount Sinai, which gendereth to bondage, which is Agar.
Gal. 4:25 For this Agar is mount Sinai in Arabia,
        and answereth to Jerusalem [SODOM] which now is, and is in bondage with her children.

Rom. 4:13 For the promise, that he should be the heir of the world, was not to Abraham, or to his seed, through the law, but through the righteousness of faith.
Rom. 4:16 Therefore it is of faith, that it might be by grace; to the end the promise might be sure to all the seed; not to that only which is of the law, but to that also which is of the faith of Abraham; who is the father of us all,

LEONARD ALLEN SAYS THAT JESUS WAS GOD: JESUS CALLED THAT BLASPHEMY

Paul says that Jesus is the LORD.  Jesus was born in the FLESH 30 years before He became Lord and Christ.

Leonard Allen Lipscoomb 2019: p. 60 One explicit text is 1 Corinthians 12:4-6 , where Paul connects the gifts and working of the Spirit, the Lord Jesus, and God.

In His glorified state Jesus of Nazareth appeared and spoke to Paul and promised to appear to him and guide him into all truth. Jesus rules over His Kingdom and is the ONLY authorized Teacher.  He received the Promise of the Holy Spirit which was the Evangelistic Office of Holy Spirit who does not speak to theologians

Eph. 4:7 But unto every one of us is given grace according to the measure of the gift of Christ.

1Cor. 12:1 Now concerning spiritual GIFTS, brethren, I would not have you ignorant.

1Cor. 12:2 Ye know that ye were Gentiles, carried away unto these dumb idols, even as ye were led.
1Cor. 12:3 Wherefore I give you to understand,
        that no man SPEAKING by the SPIRIT OF God
        calleth Jesus accursed: and that no man can SAY
        that Jesus is the Lord, but by the Holy SPIRIT

1 Corinthians 12:4-6

1Cor. 12:4 Now there are diversities of GIFTS, but the same SPIRIT.
1Cor. 12:5 And there are differences of administrations, but the same LORD. [Kurios]
1Cor. 12:6 And there are diversities of operations,
         but it is the same GOD [Theos] which worketh all in all.
1Cor. 12:7 But the manifestation of the Spirit is given to every man to profit withal.

IN CHAPTER 13 SHOWS THAT THESE GIFTS WILL CEASE WHEN MEN LIKE PETER LEAVES US A BETTER WAY: Jesus said MY WORDS are SPIRIT.

1Cor. 12:8 For to ONE is given by the SPIRIT the WORD of wisdom;
        to ANOTHER the WORD of KNOWLEDGE by the same Spirit;
2 corinthians 131Cor. 12:9 To another FAITH by the same Spirit;
        to another the gifts of healing by the same Spirit; [Ask Leonard to heal you.]
1Cor. 12:10 To another the working of miracles;
        to another prophecy; to another discerning of spirits; [False teachers]
        to another divers kinds of tongues; to another the interpretation of tongues:
1Cor. 12:27 Now ye are the body of Christ, and members in particular.

The Church of Christ was fully supplied with Supernatural power.  However, these gifts were by APT elders by the Laying on of hands.  contrary to the "progressives" none of them are apostles.

1Cor. 12:28 And God hath set some in the church,
        first apostles, secondarily prophets, thirdly teachers, after that miracles,
        then gifts of healings, helps, governments, diversities of tongues.
1Cor. 12:29 Are ALL apostles? are all prophets? are all teachers? are all workers of miracles?
1Cor. 12:30 Have all the gifts of healing? do all speak with tongues? do all interpret?

NO! if you have ONE prophet who can SPEAK THE WORD by inspiration, you don't get ANOTHER one.

Because only ONE person in a Congregation being enabled by an Apostle, ANOTHER WAY will come when all of the PARTS delivered "for our memory" have been collected.  Only ONE who could teach the WORD in a flock, and because the Apostles who executed the Last Will and Testament, would be dead, That which is PERFECT combined all of the PARTS and any one who could read could have God as Word or Spirit in written form.  All of the Epistles--rejected by progressives--were commanded to be READ and CIRCULATED. That was God's way and the common understanding that if you have a WRITTEN DOCUMENT then those who claimed supernatural KNOWLEDGE could be, in a figurative sense, Tarred and Feathered and put on a donkey and taken "accross the county line."

1Cor. 12:31 But covet earnestly the best gifts: and yet shew I unto you a more excellent way.

No one who "sells learning at retail", corrupts the WORD or Prostitutes the WORD can demonstrate ANY supernatural power.

1Cor. 13:1 Though I SPEAK with the tongues of men and of angels,
        and have not charity, I am become as sounding brass, or a tinkling cymbal.

C. Leonard Allen Spirit Poured out.  2 Corinthians 13:14;

After each Recorder of the Teachings of Jesus was made perfect. The term 'The Holy Spirit' is no longer in the salutations of the Epistles:

1Cor. 1:1 Paul, called to be an apostle
        of Jesus Christ
        through the will of God, and Sosthenes our brother,

1 Cor. 1:3 Grace be to you and peace
        from God
[Theos] our Father,
        and from the Lord
[Kurios] Jesus Christ.

2Cor. 1:2 Grace be to you and peace
        from God
[Theos] our Father,
        and from the Lord
[Kurios] Jesus Christ.

That means, if you can read, that Jesus is NOT God.

2Cor. 13:13 All the saints salute you.
2Cor. 13:14
        The GRACE of the LORD [Kurios] Jesus Christ,
        and the LOVE of GOD,  [Theos]
        and the COMMUNION
koinōn-ia of the Holy Ghost, be with you all. Amen.

The Theologians think that we need The Holy Spirit so that we can commune with him.  However, we are given A holy spirit so that we can read BLACK text on BROWN paper.

commūnĭcātĭo , anakoinōsis, in accordance with which one turns to his hearers, and, as it were, allows them to take part in the inquiry, Cic. de Or. 3, 53, 204; Quint. 9, 1, 30; 9, 2, 20 and 23.

This sounds like a typical doxology.  If God is a trinity of three persons each with their own center of consciousness (Hicks) then why would Paul mention GOD and then Jesus Who CAME IN THE FLESH and the Wholly Spirit or Breath?

As each writer left their PART for our memory the Salutations of the Epistles does not include a separate Spirit.

Gal. 6:18 Brethren, the grace of our Lord Jesus Christ
        be with YOUR spirit. Amen.
Gal. 1:3 Grace be to you and peace
        from God the Father,
        AND from our Lord Jesus Christ
Phil. 2:1 If there be therefore any consolation in Christ, if any comfort of love,
        if any fellowship of the Spirit, if any bowels and mercies,
Phil. 2:2 Fulfil ye my joy, that ye be likeminded, having the same love, being of one accord, of one mind.
Phil. 4:23 The grace of our Lord Jesus Christ be with you
1Th. 5:28 The grace of our Lord Jesus Christ be with you. Amen.

There is no "THE" so we have fellowship with HOLY SPIRIT: Jesus said My WORDS are SPIRIT AND LIFE.

1 Cor 10:16 communion of the blood of Christ

1 Cor 1:19 God is faithful, by whom ye were called unto the fellowship of his Son Jesus Christ our Lord
1 Jn 1:3 may have fellowship with us: and truly our fellowship is with the Father and with his Son.
Harvey Floyd: The word with (in Jn 1:1) implies communion, the association (alliance, organization, league, club) of persons.  As literally as this can be translated, it is 'the Word was face to face with (confronting, disputing, in the face of, countering) God, he was toward God (pros ton theon)... There are two actors (cast of characters) in the drama (play, show, performance), and they are face to face with each other.  They are on the stage at the same time... What we have is the doctrine of the Trinity: that God is a triad, that God is one God indeed, but his unity is a complex unity, a unity that exists in diversity. (Floyd, Harvey, Is the Holy Spirit for Me, p. 12, 20th Century Christian.)

C. Leonard Allen Spirit Poured out.  Ephesians 4:4–6;

A THIRD explicit text is Ephesians 4:4-6 which affirms "one body and one Spirit, "one Lord, one faith, one baptism: one god and father of all. Here is a kind of early creedal formulation clearly distinguishing the activities of the Triune God.  The Last Phrase--the. Father "who is above all and through and in all--subordinates the Son and the SPIRIT to the father (in function not in personhood), but the passage clearly affirms the oneness of the Triune God.

PAUL IS SPEAKING OF THE CHURCH AS A BODY: NOT THE TRINITY

Eph. 4:2 With all lowliness and meekness, with longsuffering, forbearing one another in love;
Eph. 4:3 Endeavouring to keep the unity of the Spirit in the bond of peace.
Eph. 4:4 There
        is one BODY,
        and one SPIRIT,
        even as ye are called in one HOPE of your calling;

Eph. 5:23 For the husband is the head of the wife,
        even as Christ is the head of the CHURCH: and he is the saviour of the BODY.

Body and Spirit proves that BOTH belong to the individual and collectively the Mental Disposition of the Group.

1Cor. 6:20 For ye are bought with a price:
        therefore glorify God in YOUR BODY, and in YOUR SPIRIT which are God’s.

g4983.  soma, so´-mah; from 4982; the body (as a sound whole), used in a very wide application, literally or figuratively: — bodily, body, slave

1Th. 5:23 And the very God of peace sanctify you WHOLLY;
        and I pray God YOUR
        whole SPIRIT
        and [your] SOUL
        and
[your] BODY be preserved blameless unto the coming of our Lord Jesus Christ.

This is not THE Holy Spirit person but the spirit OF unity. DIVERSITY is excluded:

Eph. 4:5 One Lord, [Kurios] one faith, one baptism,
Eph. 4:6 ONE God [Theos] and Father of all,
        who is above all, and through all, and in you all.

That proves that Jesus is NOT God the Father as Leonard Allen asserts.

Eph. 4:7 But unto every one of us is given grace
        according to the measure of the GIFT OF CHRIST
Eph. 4:8 Wherefore he saith, When HE ascended up on high,

HE led captivity captive, and [HE] gave gifts unto men.
Eph. 4:9 (Now that
HE ascended,
        what is it but that
HE also descended first into the lower parts of the earth?
Eph. 4:10

HE might fill all things.

C. Leonard Allen Spirit Poured out.  Romans 8:9–11;

1Cor. 2:10 But God hath revealed them unto us by HIS Spirit:
        for the Spirit searcheth all things, yea, the deep things of God.

God Thinks, God breaths (spirit) and God ARTICULATES without another "god" person to help Him.

1Cor. 2:11
For what man knoweth the things of a man,
        save the spirit OF MAN which is in him?
even so the things of God knoweth no man,
        but the Spirit of God. [which is iN Him]
1Cor. 2:12 Now we have received,
        not the spirit of the world,
        but the spirit which is of God;
                that we might know the things that are freely given to us of God.
1Cor. 2:13 Which things also we speak,
        not in the words which man’s wisdom teacheth,
        but [WORDS] which the Holy Ghost TEACHETH;
        comparing spiritual things with spiritual.

1Cor. 2:16 For who hath known the MIND of the Lord,
            that he may instruct him? But we have the MIND of Christ.

A fourth text, Romans 8-9-11, gives us a rich and important witness to the threefold pattern to the the New Testament.  Robert Jenson Calls Romans 8 the most remarkable trinitarian passage in the New Testament," with verse 11 providing the heart of the argument."

"Rom. 8:11 But if the Spirit OF HIM
[Theologians forgot PREPOSITIONS: His Spirit is not ANOTHER god.]
         that raised up Jesus from the dead dwell in you,
         he that raised up Christ from the dead
         shall also quicken your mortal bodies
         by HIS Spirit that dwelleth in you
.

How many characteres are name here?
        There is Jesus,
the MAN
        There is the one who raised Jesus from the dead,
ONE GOD
        and there is the spirit OF HIM WHO RAISED JESUS.
ONE GOD'S Spirit

We see three actors, and the text is richly textured in naming these three.

Gregory of Nyssa:

They charge us with preaching three Gods, and din into the ears of the multitude this slander, which they never rest from maintaining persuasively. Then truth fights on our side, for we show both publicly to all men, and privately to those who converse with us, that we anathematize any man who says that there are three Gods, and hold him to be not even a Christian....

But the inspired teaching does not allow us to say that there are more than one, since, whenever it uses the term, it makes mention of the Godhead in the singular; as,-"In Him dwelleth all the fulness of the Godhead (Col. ii. 9). "; and, elsewhere,-"The invisible things of Him from the foundation of the world are clearly seen, being understood by the things that are made, even His eternal power and Godhead (Rom. i. 20.) ."

But the power of the Spirit, being included with the Father and the Son in the life-giving power, by which our nature is transferred from the corruptible life to immortality, and in many other cases also, as in the conception of "Good," and "Holy," and "Eternal," "Wise," "Righteous," "Chief," "Mighty,"

and in fact everywhere,
has an
inseparable association with them in all the attributes ascribed in a sense of special excellence.

The Spirit of Him is GOD. This is God's Spirit or Power exercised by speaking.

1Tim. 2:5 For there is [1] ONE GOD,
        and one mediator between God and men,
        the
[2] MAN Christ Jesus;

Therefore, from reading grade six we understand that Jesus is NOT the ONE God.

OF is a preposition: the
[3] Spirit OF God is God's on Spirit which means His MENTAL DISPOSITION.

Rom. 8:1 There is therefore now no condemnation to them which are IN Christ Jesus,
        who walk not after the FLESH,
        but [who walk] after the SPIRIT
Rom. 8:4 That the righteousness of the law might be fulfilled in us,
        who [WE] walk not after the flesh, but
[WE walk] after the Spirit.
Rom. 8:5 For they that are after the flesh
                do mind the things of the flesh;
        but they that are after the Spirit
                [do mind] the things OF the Spirit.

IN cannot mean INSIDE OF because God lives in us in the same sense that we live in Father-Son. That is we obey God's commandments

Rom. 8:9 But ye are not IN the flesh, but IN the Spirit,
        if so be that the Spirit OF God dwell in you.
        Now if any man have not the Spirit OF Christ, he is none of his.
Rom. 8:10 And if Christ be in you,
         the body is dead because of sin;
         but the spirit is life because of righteousness.
Rom. 8:11 But if the Spirit OF HIM
         that raised up Jesus from the dead dwell in you,
         he that raised up Christ from the dead
         shall also quicken your mortal bodies
         by HIS Spirit that dwelleth in you.
Rom. 8:12 Therefore, brethren, we are debtors, not to the flesh, to live after the flesh.
Rom. 8:13 For if ye live after the flesh, ye shall die:
        but if ye through the Spirit do mortify the deeds of the body, ye shall live.

C. Leonard Allen Spirit Poured out. Acts 2:32–33. Many other Pauline texts, especially those that lay out his formulation of the gospel, demonstrate the threefold pattern of divine relationality: Romans 5:1–8; Galatians 4:4-6; 2 Corinthians 1:20-22; 1 Thess. 1:4–5; 2 Thess. 2:13–14; 1 Cor. 2:4–5; 6:19–20; Gal. 3:1–5; Eph. 2:20–22; Col. 3:16).

After his conversion, Paul remained an ardent monotheist; yet because of his encounter with the risen Christ and his experience of the Spirit, he came to know God as a unity of three deeply related persons.

C. Leonard Allen Spirit Poured out Key point: Scripture reveals God as three distinct persons who in perfect relationship make up one God.

Deuteronomy 4:35,39 — Unto thee it was shown, that thou mightest know that
        THE LORD HE is God;
        there is none else beside him.
(39) Know therefore this day, and consider it in thine heart,
        that THE LORD he is God in heaven above,
        and upon the earth beneath: there is NONE ELSE

3. Deuteronomy32:39 — See now that I, even I, am he, and there is no god with me:
        I kill, and I make alive; I wound, and I heal: neither is there any that can deliver out of my hand.

4. 2 Samuel 7:22 — Wherefore thou art great, O LORD God;
        for there is none LIKE thee, neither is there any God beside thee, according to all that we have heard with our ears.

5. 1 Kings 8:60 — That all the people of the earth may know that the LORD is God, and that there is none else.

6. 2 KINGS 5:15 — And he returned to the man of God, he and all his company, and came, and stood before him: and he said, Behold,
        now I know that there is no God in all the earth, but in Israel; now therefore, I pray thee, take a blessing of thy servant.

7. 2 Kings 19:15 — And Hezekiah prayed before the LORD,
        and said, O LORD God of Israel, which dwellest between the cherubims,
        thou art the God, even thou alone, of all the kingdoms of the earth; thou hast made heaven and earth.

8. 1 Chronicles 17:20 — O LORD, there is none like thee,

Mark 12:28 And one of the scribes came, and having heard them reasoning together,

Mark 12:29 And Jesus answered him,
        The first of all the commandments is, Hear, O Israel;
        The Lord OUR God is ONE Lord:
Mark 12:30 And thou shalt love THE Lord thy God with all thy heart,
        and with all thy soul, and with all thy mind, and with all thy strength:

Paul Tillich wrote:

"The Spirit is sometimes personified in the Bible, as in John 16:7-8, and this has led many to believe that it is a person. They do so because they do not take into account an idiom of the original Greek language. In Greek, inanimate objects which in English would be couched in the neuter gender, are given a masculine or feminine gender, if those objects are identified with any particular individual. ' For example, a chair is described as "it" in English, because it is neuter, being neither masculine nor feminine. But in Greek that chair can be identified with its owner. If it belongs to me, the chair is described as he; if it belongs to my wife, as she. Click Here

2. Is the Spirit of God an impersonal power or a distinct personality?

Spirit literally means WIND and nothing More.  However, it is used to define SIMILAR things. A person would not be in the same class as any of the uses of the "spirit" word.

Psa 33:4 For the [1] word of the [3] Lord is right;
        and all his [3] works are done in truth.
Psa 33:5 He loveth righteousness and judgment:
        the earth is full of the goodness of the Lord.
Psa 33:6 By the [1] word of the [3] Lord were the heavens made;
        and all the host of them by the [3] BREATH (spirit) of his mouth.

Psa 33:9 For he spake, and it was done;
        he commanded, and it stood fast.

C. Leonard Allen Spirit Poured out. P 66  The New Testament speaks of the Spirit using many different verbs that demand a personal agent. For example, the Spirit “testifies”
        with our spirits that we are children of God (Rom. 8:16),

THERE is therefore now no condemnation to them which are in Christ Jesus,
        who WALK
not after the FLESH,
        but (
walk) after
the SPIRIT Romans 8:1

For the law of the SPIRIT of life in Christ Jesus hath made me free f
        From the law of
sin and death. Romans 8:2
For what the law could not do, in that it was weak through the flesh,
God sending his own Son in the likeness of sinful flesh,
        and for sin, condemned sin in the FLESH: Romans 8:3
That the righteousness of the law might be fulfilled in us,
         who
WALK not after the FLESH (external body),
        but [walk] after the
SPIRIT
(internal mind). Romans 8:4
 Rom. 8:9 But ye are not in the flesh, but in the Spirit,
        if so be that the SPIRIT OF GOD dwell in you.
        Now if any man have not the SPIRIT OF CHRIST he is none of his.

Rom. 8:15 For ye have not received the SPIRIT OF BONDAGE again to fear;
        but ye have received the Spirit OF ADOPTION, whereby we cry, Abba, Father.
Rom. 8:16 The Spirit itself beareth witness with our spirit, that we are the children of God:

The spirit OF ADOPTION is the "Mental disposition" of an adopted son.

Rom. 8:17  And if children, then heirs; heirs of God, and joint-heirs with Christ; if so be that we suffer with him, that we may be also glorified together.

comes alongside to help, and “intercedes” with the Father on our behalf (and God “knows the mind of the Spirit” [Rom. 8:27]). The Spirit “searches” and understands (1 Cor. 2:10–11),

1Cor. 2:10 But God hath revealed them unto us by HIS Spirit:
        for the Spirit searcheth all things, yea, the deep things of God.
1Cor. 2:11 For what man knoweth the things of a man,
                        save the spirit OF MAN which is in him?
                    even so the things of God knoweth no man,
                            but the Spirit of God.

Our spirit is NOT another person: God's Spirit is NOT another person.

1Cor. 2:12 Now we have received,
        not the spirit of the world,
        but the spirit which is of God;
        that we might know the things that are freely given to us of God.

Baptism requests A holy spirit when sins are washed away from our spirit

1 Peter 3:21 Baptism SAVES because we request A good conscience or consciousness Which gives us a co-perception so that we can read BLACK text on BROWN paper

But only ONE who could report the MESSAGE in a congregation until "that which is written for our learning.

can be “outraged” by rejection (Heb. 10:29, ESV), forbids (Acts 16:6), prevents (Acts 16:7), sends (Acts 13:4), is put to the test (Acts 5:9), and is grieved by our sins (Eph. 4:30). The fullest portrayal of the personhood of the Spirit is found in the Paraclete passages in John 14–16, where the Spirit mediates the Father and the Son to the disciples (especially 14:6–11).

We can see this narrative identification of the spirit in the early theologians.  Here is a well-known passage from Gregory of Nazianzus in the fourth century.  "Christ is born, the spirit is his Forerunner lk 1:33 Christ is baptized, the Spirit bears witness (Lk 3:21-22); Christ is tempted the Spirit leads him up (Lk 4:2, 14) Christ ascends, the Spirit takes his place (Acts 1:8-9)

Gregory Nazianzen Oration XXXIX

Nor are we concerned with Phrygian mutilations and flutes and Corybantes,11 and all the ravings of men concerning Rhea, [ZOE] consecrating people to the mother of the gods, and being initiated into such ceremonies as befit the mother of such gods as these. Nor have we any carrying away of the Maiden,12 nor wandering of Demeter, nor her intimacy with Celei and Triptolemi and Dragons; nor her doings and sufferings ... for I am ashamed to bring into daylight that ceremony of the night, and to make a sacred mystery of obscenity. Eleusis knows these things, and so do those who are eyewitnesses of what is there guarded by silence, and well worthy of it. Nor is our commemoration one of Dionysus, and the thigh that travailed with an incomplete birth, as before a head had travailed with another;13 nor of the hermaphrodite god, nor a chorus of the drunken and enervated host; nor of the folly of the Thebans which honours him; nor the thunderbolt of Semele which they adore. Nor is it the harlot mysteries of Aphrodite, who, as they themselves admit, was basely born and basely honoured; nor have we here Phalli and Ithyphalli,14 shameful both in form and action; nor Taurian massacres of strangers;15 nor blood of Laconian youths shed upon the altars, as they scourged themselves with the whips;16 and in this case alone use their courage badly, who honour a goddess, and her a virgin. For these same people both honour effeminacy, and worship boldness.

And when I speak of God you must be illumined at once by one flash of light and by three. Three in Individualities or Hypostases, if any prefer so to call them, or persons,43 for we will not quarrel about names so long as the syllables amount to the same meaning; but One in respect of the Substance-that is, the Godhead.

For they are divided without division, if I may so say; and they are united in division.
        For the Godhead is one in three,
        and the three are one, in whom the Godhead is, or to speak more accurately, Who are the Godhead.
Excesses and defects we will omit, neither making the Unity a confusion, nor the division a separation. We would keep equally far from the confusion of Sabellius and from the division of Arius, which are evils diametrically opposed, yet equal in their wickedness. For what need is there heretically to fuse God together, or to cut Him up into inequality?

XII. For to us there is but One God, the Father, OF Whom are all things, and One Lord Jesus Christ, BY Whom are all things; and One Holy Ghost, in Whom are all things;44 yet these words, of, by, in, whom, do not denote a difference of nature (for if this were the case, the three prepositions, or the order of the three names would never be altered), but they characterize the personalities of a nature which is one and unconfused.

And this is proved by the fact that They are again collected into one, if you will read-not carelessly-this other passage of the same Apostle,

"Of Him and through Him and to Him are all things; to Him be glory forever, Amen."45

The Father is Father, and is Unoriginate, for He is of no one; the Son is Son, and is NOT unoriginate, for He is of the Father.

But if you take the word Origin in a temporal sense, He too is Unoriginate, for He is the Maker of Time, and is not subject to Time.

The Holy Ghost is truly Spirit, coming forth from the Father indeed, but not after the manner of the Son, for it is not by Generation but by Procession (since I must coin a word for the sake of clearness46 );

for neither did the Father cease to be Unbegotten because of His begetting something, nor the Son to be begotten because He is of the Unbegotten (how could that be?), nor is the Spirit changed into Father or Son because He proceeds, or because He is God-though the ungodly do not believe it.

For Personality is unchangeable; else how could Personality remain, if it were changeable, and could be removed from one to another? But they who make "Unbegotten" and "Begotten" natures of equivocal gods would perhaps make Adam and Seth differ in nature, since the former was not born of flesh (for he was created), but the latter was born of Adam and Eve. There is then One God in Three, and These Three are One, as we have said.

Key point: Scripture reveals the nature of the Spirit as personal not impersonal.

 P 67

3. What was Jesus’ relationship with the Spirit?

Three key aspects:

First, the Spirit comes to impart human life to Jesus at his conception in the womb of Mary (Lk 1:35). The Spirit of God intervenes in the process of human conception to begin a new humanity in the conception of the Son. The conception and birth of Christ was a gift of the Spirit.

Second, at Jesus’ baptism in the Jordan, the Spirit rests upon Jesus as a sign of the Father’s love and Jesus’ anointing as Messiah. As Jesus came out of the water, “heaven was opened and the Holy Spirit descended on him in bodily form like a dove. And a voice came from heaven: ‘You are my Son, whom I love; with you I am well pleased’” (Lk 3:21–22).

John’s statement that the Spirit “rested” or “remained” (John 1:32)
        on him suggests that Jesus here entered a new dimension
        of his relationship with the Spirit, and a new stage in his life and ministry.

John 1:32 And John bare record, saying,
         I saw the Spirit descending from heaven like a dove,
         and IT abode upon him.
THIS WAS A SUPERNATURAL SIGN

John 1:33 And I knew him not:
        BUT he that sent me to baptize with water,
        the same SAID unto me,
        Upon whom thou shalt see the Spirit descending,
        and remaining on him,
        the same is he which baptizeth with the Holy Ghost.
John 1:34 And I saw, and bare record that this is the SON OF GOD

It was through this anointing BY the SPIRIT that Jesus, the ETERNAL Son of God,
        became the “Christ” (anointed one) and received empowerment for his messianic mission.

THIS CONTRADICTS HOLY SCRIPTURE:

And Justin Martyr wrote:

"God begot before all creatures a Beginning, who was a certain rational power from himself and whom the Holy Spirit calls . . . sometimes the Son, . . . sometimes Lord and Word ... We see things happen similarly among ourselves,

for whenever we utter some word, we beget a word, yet not by any cutting off, which would diminish the word in us when we utter it.

We see a similar occurrence when one fire enkindles another. (Justin Martyr, c 100-165, First Apology)

"The Son of God is the Word of the Father in thought and actuality. By him and through him all things were made, the Father and the Son being one. Since the Son is in the Father and the Father is in the Son by the unity and power of the Spirit,

"the Mind and Word of the Father is the Son of God.

Athanagoras wrote:

"And if, in your exceedingly great wisdom, it occurs to you to inquire what is meant by `the Son,' I will tell you briefly: He is the first- begotten of the Father, not as having been produced,
        for from the beginning
God had the Word in himself,
        God being
eternal mind and eternally rational,
    but as coming forth to be the model and energizing force of all material things" (Athanagoras, 177 AD, Plea for the Christians 10:2-4).

And Irenaeus wrote:

"It was not angels, therefore, who made us nor who formed us, neither had angels power to make an image of God, nor anyone else . . . For God did not stand in need of these in order to the accomplishing of what he had himself determined with himself beforehand should be done, as if he did not possess his own hands.

For with him [the Father] were always present
        the
Word and Wisdom,
        the
Son and the Spirit,
        by whom and in whom, freely and spontaneously, he made all things,
to whom also he speaks, saying, 'Let
us make man in our image and likeness' [Gen. 1:26" (Irenaeus, Against Heresies 4:20:1)

John 1:18 No man hath seen God at any time;
        the only begotten Son, which is in the bosom of the Father, he hath declared him.

Acts 2:36 Therefore let all the house of Israel know assuredly,
        that God hath made that same Jesus, whom ye have crucified, both Lord and Christ.

Rom. 14:9 For to this end Christ both died, and rose, and revived,
        THAT he might be Lord both of the dead and living

C. Leonard Allen Spirit Poured out. Third, the Spirit transfigures and exalts the risen but still human Jesus Christ. Jesus

SPIRIT produces WORDS: There is no mention of THE SPIRIT.

Matt. 17:2 And was transfigured before them:
        and his face did shine as the sun, and his raiment was white as the light.
Matt. 17:3 And, behold, there appeared unto them Moses and Elias talking with him.
Matt. 17:4 Then answered Peter, and said unto Jesus, Lord, it is good for us to be here:
        if thou wilt, let us make here three tabernacles; one for thee, and one for Moses, and one for Elias.
Matt. 17:5 While he yet spake,
        behold, a bright cloud overshadowed them:
        and behold a VOICE out of the cloud, which said,
        This is my beloved SON, in whom I am well pleased; hear ye him.

WHEN YOU HEAR SPIRIT IS IS GOD THE FATHER BREATHING.

John 8:26 I have many things to say and to judge of you:
        but he that sent me is true;
        and I SPEAK to the world those things which I have HEARD of him.
John 8:27 They understood not that he spake to them of the Father.
John 8:28 Then said Jesus unto them,
        When ye have lifted up the Son of man,
        then shall ye know that I am he,
        and that I do nothing of myself;
                but as my Father hath taught me,
                I speak these things.
John 8:29 And he that sent me is with me:
        the Father hath not left me alone;
         for I DO always those things that PLEASE him.
John 8:30 As he spake these WORDS, many believed on him.

THERE IS NO NAMED "HOLY SPIRIT PERSON" IN THE SALUTATIONS OF THE EPISTLES

OF is a preposition: the spirit OF holiness is the mind or mental disposition of a holy person.

Rom. 1:5 By whom we have received grace and apostleship,
        for obedience to the faith among all nations, for his name:
Rom. 1:6 Among whom are ye also the called of Jesus Christ:

Matt. 28:18 And Jesus came and spake unto them,

Matt. 28:19 Go ye therefore, and teach all nations,
        baptizing them in the name [singular] of the Father, and of the Son, and of the Holy Ghost:
Matt. 28:20 Teaching them to observe all things whatsoever I HAVE COMMANDED YOU
        and, lo, I am WITH YOU ALWAY even unto the end of the world. Amen.

Father, Son and Spirit are not NAMES.  Peter who understood along with all of the Bible

Acts 2:38 Then Peter said unto them,
        Repent, and be baptized every one of you
        in the NAME of Jesus Christ
        for the remission of sins, and ye shall receive the gift of the Holy Ghost.

Col. 3:17 And whatsoever ye do in word or deed,
        do all in the NAME of the LORD JESUS  [The "Holy Spirit" is not NAME OF]

            God and the Father BY HIM

SPIRIT PRODUCES WORDS: WORDS FROM HUMANS COME FROM HUMAN SPIRITS.

Acts 4:8 Then Peter, filled with the Holy SPIRIT,
        SAID unto them, Ye rulers of the people, and elders of Israel,
Acts 4:11 This is the STONE which was set at nought of you builders,
        which is become the head of the corner.

Jesus is the HEAD (only Teacher) at the corner or ANGLE meaning only at a quiet and secret place to "learn of me."

        for there is NONE OTHER NAME
        under heaven given among men, whereby we must be saved.

Jesus had to be SEEN and HEARD to enable him to be an apostle.  Jesus promised to Guide Him into all truth:

Acts 26:15 And I said, Who art thou, Lord?
        And he said, I am Jesus whom thou persecutest.
Acts 26:16 But rise, and stand upon thy feet:
        for I have appeared unto thee for this purpose,
        to make thee a minister and a witness
        both of these things which thou hast seen,
        and of those things in the which I will appear unto thee;
Acts 26:17 Delivering thee from the people,
        and from the Gentiles, unto whom now I send thee,
Acts 26:18 To open their eyes,
        and to turn [convert be baptized]
        them from darkness to light,
        and from the power of Satan unto God,
        THAT they may receive forgiveness of sins,
        and inheritance among them
        which are sanctified [Given A holy spirit] by faith that is in me.

C. Leonard Allen Spirit Poured out. Jesus was exalted in a transformed, resurrected humanity
         by a new work of the Spirit in him.
From this exalted position, Christ then pours out the Spirit at Pentecost, marking the first installment of our resurrected and transfigured humanity (Acts 2:33).

In His glorified state Jesus WAS HOLY SPIRIT the Promised Comforter.

Acts 2:32 This Jesus hath God raised up, whereof we all are witnesses.
Acts 2:33 Therefore being by the right hand of God exalted,
        and having received of the Father
         the PROMISE of the Holy Spirit,
         HE hath shed forth this, which ye now see and hear.

1 John 2 says that the name of the PARAKLETE is Jesus Christ the Righteous. The PROMISE is the OFFICE OR ROLE AS HOLY SPIRIT just meaning without flesh and bones.

C. Leonard Allen Spirit Poured out.
In these “trinitarian” narratives,
        Scripture reveals the person of the Spirit in an intimate relationship with Jesus.
        The Son and the Spirit are interdependent persons
        who together,
in the intimacy of their relationship,
        work to bring us into the fullness of life the Father desires for us.

Jesus calls that BLASPHEMY and John calls it THE ANTICHRIST.

God and Jesus always had His Word, Wisdom, Spirit with Him

The word Trinity was first used by Theophilus of Antioch to Autolycus. Trinity meant: God, His Word and His Wisdom (Spirit). It did not mean the doctrine of the Trinity in the modern sense of the word. [Tertullian also used the word

Chapter X.-The World Created by God Through the Word.

And first, they taught us with one consent that God made all things out of nothing;
         for nothing was coeval with God: but He being His own place, and wanting nothing,
        and existing before the ages, willed to make man by whom He might be known;
        for him, therefore, He prepared the world.
        For he that is created is also needy; but he that is uncreated stands in need of nothing.

God, then, having His own Word internal within His own bowels,
         begat Him, emitting Him
         along with His own wisdom before all things.

He had this Word as a helper in the things that were created by Him, and by Him He made all things.

Who is the Physician? God, who heals and makes alive through His word and wisdom.
        God by His own word and wisdom made all things; for
        "by His
word were the heavens made, and all the host of them
         by the breath of His mouth." [Ps xxxiii. 6.]
[Same word as holy Spirit]
Most excellent is His
wisdom.
        By His
wisdom God founded the earth;
        and by
knowledge He prepared the heavens;
        and by
understanding were the fountains of the great deep broken up, and the clouds poured out their dews.
He is called "governing principle", because He rules, and is Lord of all things fashioned by Him.
He, then, being
Spirit of God, and governing principle, and wisdom, and power of the highest,
came down upon the prophets
, and through them spoke of the creation of the world and of all other things.

For the prophets were not when the world came into existence,

but the wisdom [Spirit in this instance is Sophia] of God which was in Him, and
.         His holy Word which was always present with Him.

IT IS A VERY GOOD THING TO HAVE YOUR THOUGHT, BREATH AND WORD WITH YOU.

The Spirit is the BREATH of God which delivers His Word to His Son without a little HELPER.  Spirit is figurative or a Parable Word to hide from the theologians.  This defines for anyone who knows about BREATH how God puts His WORD into the MOUTH.

2Sam. 23:2 The SPIRIT of the Lord spake by me,

C. Leonard Allen Spirit Poured out. The Son was dependent upon the Spirit, and the Spirit was dependent upon the Son;
        in the New Testament, we see a deep reciprocity between them.

        Then anointed BY the Spirit,
FALSE!

The spirit OF holiness is the "mind or disposition of being holy."  His spirit was made holy:

2Cor. 7:1 Having therefore these promises, dearly beloved,

SPIRIT is always defined as God puts His WORD into the Mouth of a Moses, Elijah and the MAN Jesus for the last time.
There is no Spirit as a MEDIATOR to enable Father and Son to communicate.

John 8:26 I have many things to say and to judge of you:
        but he that sent me is true;
        and I SPEAK to the world those things which I have HEARD of him.
John 8:27 They understood not that he SPAKE to them of the Father.
John 8:28 Then said Jesus unto them,
        When ye have lifted up the Son of man,
        then shall ye know that I am he,
        and that I do nothing of myself;
                but as my Father hath taught me,
                I
SPEAK these things.
John 8:29 And he that sent me is with me:
        the Father hath not left me alone;
         for I DO always those things that PLEASE him.
John 8:30 As he

John 8:31 Then said Jesus to those Jews which believed on him,

John 10:25 Jesus answered them, I told you, and ye believed not:

John 10:32 Jesus answered them,
        Many good works have I shewed you from my Father;

John 10:37 If I do not the WORKS of my Father, believe me not.
John 10:38 But if I do, though ye believe not me, believe the works:

God the Father IS Spirit meaning without flesh and bones.

Spirit is never a People: It was God's Mental Disposition which was with Jesus.  However, it is always easy to DISCREDIT Jesus for His mighty Works.  He performed miracles "with God working with him."

C. Leonard Allen Spirit Poured out: Key point: Scripture reveals the Spirit as a distinct and personal subject within the life of God.

That's true: Jesus was the visible manifestation of god's SPIRIT and in His Glorified State "the Promise of the Holy Spirit" means that God continued with Jesus being the SPIRITUAL teacher and ONLY COMFORTER.

Leonard Allen

PART TWO:

C. Leonard Allen Spirit Poured out skillfully insults this writer.  Let me respond modestly to your assertion that “Spirit literally means WIND and nothing More. It is correct that “spirit” in the OT often means “wind” or “breath.” But to say that it means nothing more than that in Scripture is to claim too much. Here are some thoughts (condensed from my book):

SPIRIT means that God put His WORDS into the MOUTH of Moses, Elijah and for the last time the MOUTH of Jesus.  SPIRIT is a state, mind or mental disposition and NEVER a literal god who lives inside the carnal body.

I meant that the word which God choose to define His Work and Word literally means WIND. If I were a "god" I might worry about that.  Upon that "spirit" is used. I have crawled and posted many of the important Fathers and the Classics and a spirit is a demon or what is left of a dead person. I don't think that I have ever seen SPIRIT used to identify a person but the Mind or Mental disposition.

In a figurative sense or it is used with OR. I remember little of grammar but I think that the Spirit OF God is God's own Spirit.
H7307 rûach roo'-akh From H7306 ;
wind;
by resemblance BREATH,
that is, a sensible (or even violent) exhalation;
figuratively life, anger, unsubstantiality;
by extension a region of the sky;
by resemblance spirit,
        but only OF a rational being
                (including its expression and functions):—
air, anger, blast, breath, X cool, courage, mind,
tempest, X vain, ([whirl-]) wind (-y).

H7306 rûach roo'-akh  A primitive root;
        properly to blow, that is, breathe;
        only (literally) to smell or
        (by implication perceive
        (figuratively to anticipate, enjoy):—
        accept, smell, X touch,
        make of quick understanding.

  G4151 pneuma pnyoo'-mah From G4154 ;
        a current of air, that is, breath (blast) or a breeze;
        by analogy or figuratively a spirit,
                that is, (human) the rational soul,

(by implication) vital principle, mental disposition, etc.,
               or (superhuman) an angel, daemon, or (divine) God,
        Christ’s spirit, the Holy spirit:—ghost, life,
            spirit (-ual, -ually), mind. Compare G5590 .

G4154 pneō pneh'-o  A primary word; to breathe hard,
        that is, breeze:—blow. Compare G5594

C. Leonard Allen Spirit Poured out.  The backdrop to identifying the Spirit in the New Testament is provided by the main metaphors for the Spirit in the Old Testament. Wind or breath is the most prominent, but there are several others: a warming or even a raging fire (“[H]e will cleanse the bloodstains from Jerusalem by a spirit of judgment and a spirit of fire” [Isa. 4:4]);

Is. 4:3 And it shall come to pass, that he that is left in Zion, and he that remaineth in Jerusalem,
        shall be called holy, even every one that is written among the living in Jerusalem:
Is. 4:4 When the Lord shall have
        washed away the filth of the daughters of Zion,
        and shall have purged the blood of Jerusalem from the midst thereof

        by the spirit OF judgment,
        and by the spirit OF burning.

The baptism of Spirit and Fire is promised to the race of Vipers and defines the winnowing process.

John 3:33 He that hath received his testimony hath set to his seal that God is true.

John 3:34 For he whom God hath sent
.......... speaketh the words of God:
.......... for God giveth not the Spirit
.......... by measure unto him.

This is a parallelism: Speaking the Words of God is the meaning of Spirit without measure. Jesus said My WORDS are SPIRIT and they are LIFE.  Jesus as the "son" never spoke on His own but what he heard from the "Father within." Father, Son and Spirit are not names.

Is.59:21 As for me, this is my covenant with them, saith the Lord;
.......... My SPIRIT that is upon thee,
.......... and my WPRDS which I have put in thy mouth,

shall not depart out of thy mouth,
nor out of the
mouth of thy seed,
nor out of the mouth of thy
seeds seed,
saith the Lord,
from henceforth and for ever.

Pr 1:22 How long, ye simple ones, will ye love simplicity? and the scorners delight in their scorning, and fools hate knowledge?

Pr.1:23 Turn you at my reproof: behold,
.......... I will pour out my spirit unto you,
.......... I will make known my words unto you.

C. Leonard Allen Spirit Poured out. oil, as in anointing (“The Spirit of the Sovereign Lord is on me because the Lord has anointed me” [Isa. 61:1]);

The Father "breathes" and the Son "speaks." The Father does not need another "god" person to be able to INspirit the Son.

Is. 61:1 The SPIRIT of the Lord GOD is upon me;
        because the LORD hath anointed me to PREACH good tidings unto the meek;
        he hath SENT ME to bind up the brokenhearted, to proclaim liberty to the captives,
        and the opening of the prison to them that are bound;

Is. 61:2 To PROCLAIM the acceptable year of the LORD,
        and the day of vengeance of our God;
        to comfort all that mourn;

The Spirit was given without measure and Jesus SPOKE only what the Father said:

John 8:28 Then said Jesus unto them, When ye have lifted up the Son of man,
        then shall ye know that I am he,
        and that I do nothing of myself;
        but as my Father hath taught me,
        I speak these things.

Isa 44:3 For I will pour water upon him that is thirsty,

GOD OUTLAWED SELLING HIS FREE WATER OF THE WORD AND IN ISAIAH 58 OUTLAWED SEEKING YOUR OWN PLEASURE OR SPEAKING YOUR OWN WORDS.  God provided no funding and to preach you must be SENT and God will provide.

HO, every one that thirsteth,
        come ye to the waters,
        and he that hath no money;
        come ye, buy, and eat; yea,
        come, buy wine and milk WITHOUT MONEY
        and WITHOUT PRICE. Isa 55:1
Wherefore DO YOU SPEND MONEY for that which is not bread?
        and your labour for that which satisfieth not?
        hearken diligently unto me,
        and eat ye that which is good,
        and let your soul delight itself in fatness. Isa 55:2

There is nothing you can do to worship God but FEED the souls of starving people with the Water of the Word: free of charge.

       John 6:60 Many therefore of his disciples, when they had heard this, said,
                This is an hard saying; who can hear it?
        John 6:61 When Jesus knew in himself that his disciples murmured at it,
                he said unto them, Doth this offend you?
       John 6:62 What and if ye shall see the Son of man ascend up where he was before?
      John 6:63 It is the SPIRIT that quickeneth;
                the flesh profiteth nothing:
                the WORD that I speak unto you,
                they are

THIS WAS THE LAST DAYS: THE WORD HAS ONCE DELIVERED TO THE SAINTS.

        John 4:10 Jesus answered and said unto her, If thou knewest the GIFT OF GOD
                and who it is that saith to thee,
                Give me to drink; thou wouldest have asked of him,
                and he would have GIVEN thee LIVING WATERS.

        God is SPIRIT: the Gift OF God is therefore SPIRIT or the WORD.

        John 4:24 God is a Spirit: and they that worship him must worship him in spirit and in truth.
        John 4:25 The woman saith unto him,
                I know that Messias cometh, which is called Christ:

        and returneth not thither, but watereth the earth,
        and maketh it bring forth and bud,

Is. 55:11 So shall MY word be that goeth forth out of my mouth:
        it shall not return unto me void,
        but it shall accomplish that which I please,
        and it shall prosper in the thing whereto I sent it.

C. Leonard Allen Spirit Poured out.  Spirit of God (ruach—breath or wind) is often used in the Old Testament to express the mysterious action of God in human life and in creation.

To call God “spirit” was to speak of God as a living presence—
        experienced with two kinds of “breath”:
        a gentle breath moving deeply within a person
        or a strong wind drawing people into its path.
Neither aspect was under human control. Both aspects appear in Ezekiel’s vision of the valley of dry bones (Ezek. 37).

Israel in exile has lost everything, including, they seem to believe, their God; they are like a heap of dry bones bleaching in the desert sun. Yahweh promises to come like the wind (which can be translated wind, breath, or spirit; Ezek. 37:9). God will breathe and the four winds of the earth will blow, giving the people life and causing them to stand on their feet in formation like an army ready for action.

EZEKIEL WAS A PRIEST AND PROPHET: That means that God spoke directly to Ezekiel.  Leonard Allen is not one of the confirmed MOUTH of prophets.

Ezek. 1:3 The word of the LORD came EXPRESSLY unto Ezekiel the priest, the son of Buzi, in the land of the Chaldeans by the river Chebar; and the hand of the LORD was there upon him.

Mark 9:5 And Peter answered and said to Jesus, Master, it is good for us to be here:
        and let us make three tabernacles;
        one for THEE, and one for MOSES, and one for ELIJAH.
Mark 9:6 For he wist not what to say; for they were sore afraid.
Mark 9:7 And there was a cloud that overshadowed them:
        and a voice came out of the cloud, saying,
        This is my beloved Son: hear him.

Heb. 1:1 God, who at sundry times and in divers manners
        spake in time past unto the fathers by the prophets,
Heb. 1:2 Hath in these
LAST DAYS spoken unto us by his Son,
        whom he hath appointed heir of all things,
        by whom also he made the worlds;

worlds g165.  aion, ahee-ohn´; from the same as 104; properly, an age; by extension, perpetuity (also past); by implication, the world; specially (Jewish) a Messianic period (present or future)
NOT EVEN LEONARD ALLEN HAS HEARD GOD'S VOICE AND, LIKE MIRIAM, WILL BE STRUCK WITH SPIRITUAL LEPROSY.

Ezek. 37:1  The HAND OF THE LORD was upon me,
        and carried me out
        In
The SPIRIT [h7307] OF THE LORD,
        and set me down in the midst of the valley which was full of bones,
Ezek. 37:2 And caused me to pass by them round about:
        and, behold, there were very many in the open valley;
        and, lo, they were very dry.

Ezek. 37:3 And HE SAID unto me,
        Son of man, can these bones live?
        And I answered, O Lord God, thou knowest.

Ezek. 37:4 Again he said unto me,
        Prophesy upon these bones,
        and say unto them, O ye dry bones,
        HEAR THE WORD OF THE LORD .

Ezek. 37:5 Thus SAITH THE LORD GOD
        unto these bones;
        Behold, I will cause BREATH [h7307]
        to enter into you, and ye shall live:

Ezek. 37:6 And I will lay sinews upon you, and will bring up flesh upon you,
        and cover you with skin, and put breath
[h7307]
        in you, and ye shall live; and ye shall know that I am the Lord.
Ezek. 37:7 So I prophesied as I was commanded: and as I prophesied,
        there was a noise, and behold a shaking, and the bones came together, bone to his bone.

Ezek. 37:8 And when I beheld, lo, the sinews and the flesh came up upon them, and the skin covered them above: but there was no breath in them.
Ezek. 37:9 Then said he unto me,
        Prophesy unto the wind.
[h7307]

prophesy, son of man, and SAY to the wind [h7307] , breath
        Thus saith the Lord God; Come from the four winds,
        O breath [h7307] , and breathe upon these slain,
        that they may live.
Ezek. 37:10 So I prophesied as he COMMANDED ME
        and the breath
[h7307]  came into them, and they lived,
        and stood up upon their feet, an exceeding great army.
C. Leonard Allen Spirit Poured out.  As Israel’s prophets envisioned the age to come, they looked for a much richer experience of God’s powerful presence within Israel (Ezek. 36:26–27,
Ezek. 36:25  Then will I sprinkle clean water upon you, and ye shall be clean
       from all your filthiness, and from all your idols, will I cleanse you.
Ezek. 36:26 A new HEART also will I give you,
        and a new SPIRIT will I put within you:
        and I will take away the stony heart out of your flesh,
        and I will give you an heart of flesh.
  Ezek. 36:27 And I will put MY
SPIRIT within you,
        and cause you to walk in MY STATUTES
        and ye shall KEEP MY JUDGMENTS AND DO THEM

Jesus in the STATE of Holy Spirit would SPEAK only what the IN THE FLESH Christ had commanded,

2Sam. 23:2 The SPIRIT of the Lord SPAKE by me,
         and his
WORDS was in my tongue.
Job 15:13 That THOU turnest THY
SPIRIT against God,
        and lettest such WORDS go out of thy mouth?
 Job 26:4 To whom hast thou uttered
SPIRIT?
        and whose
WORDS came from thee?
Prov. 1:23 Turn you at my reproof:
        behold, I will pour out my
SPIRIT unto you,
       I will make known my WORDS unto you.

God breathed and Jesus articulated God's Word.  When He had revealed His Word men like Peter claimed to be eye-- and ear-- witnesses of Jesus making the prophecies about Christ more certain by signs and wonders.

God IS Spirit and His Words are Spirit so that once they have been delivered the work of Jesus would be INVALIDATED unless it is true as He claimed:

John 6:63 It is the SPIRIT that quickeneth;
        the flesh profiteth nothing:
        the WORDS that I SPEAK unto you,
        they are , and they are life.
