I'm at a congregation that has struggled with this issue.
      We've been atempting to make our Sunday morning assemblies as relevant as possible.
One way we did that was
      A. to start using a praise team,
      B. not every Sunday,
      C. but at first only occasionally,
      D. and now about every other week,
      E. before the actual service starts- then we have the traditional congregational singing
            led by a song leader for the rest of the service.
      F. At first we had them stand in the back, which didn't cause much of a stir,
      G. but when we moved them up front in front of the whole congregation,
           many people had serious problems with this, and a few left because of it.
      H.  (we still sing acapella and have no desire to change that)
Rev. Dr. KERR, Reformed Presbyterian Church of Scotland, Glasgow, said: There are now two ritualisms. There is the ritualism of the Presbyterian Church of Scotland and the ritualism of the Episcopalian Church of England.

10. introduction of saints' days and holy days, including Ash Wednesday, Maunday Thursday, Good Friday, Holy Saturday, and Easter Sunday; crosses, crosiers; candles; incense; thurifers; and so on.

Would not such ministers and their congregations be ready for union with the Church of England Romanisers? Would they not be toying all this time with the trinkets of Babylon? Of the Church yielding to such rites in the period after the first Reformation, Gillespie wrote that

"her lovely locks are frizzled with the crisping pins of anti-Christian fashions."
Multitudes of moderate drinkers never, indeed, become drunkards,but the drunkards are recruited from the ranks of the moderates, and those who fall into ritualistic habits, little by little, incur the risk of being fully Romanised.

It seems to have been a man named Theophilus of Antioch who first applied the term trinity to this Biblical concept as early as 181 A.D. But it was the Anathasian Creed, completed some time in the fifth century, which stated it most clearly: "We worship one God in trinity, and trinity in unity, neither confounding the persons, nor separating the substance."

        no person having any manifestation of the Spirit,
        or showing any divine power among men.
HOLY SPIRIT PROCEEDS OUT OF THE MOUTH OF GOD: IT IS HIS MIND EXPRESSED BY BREATH
THE SPIRIT OF TRUTH SPEAKS ONLY THROUGH JESUS TO THE APOSTLES.

John 15:26 But when the Comforter is come,
        whom I will send [when He speaks] unto you from the Father,
        even the SPIRIT OF TRUTH, which proceedeth from the Father, he shall testify of me:
John 15:27 And ye also shall bear witness, because ye have been with me from the beginning.
John 16:1 These things have I spoken unto you, that ye should not be offended.
John 16:2 They shall put you out of the synagogues:
        yea, the time cometh, that whosoever killeth you
        will think that he doeth God service.
John 16:3 And these things will they do unto you,
        because they have not known the Father, nor me.
John 16:4 But these things have I told you, that when the time shall come,
        ye may remember that I told you of them.
        And these things I said not unto you at the beginning, because I was with you.
John 16:5 But now I go my way to him that sent me; and none of you asketh me, Whither goest thou?
John 16:6 But because I have said these things unto you, sorrow hath filled your heart.

IF THE HOLY SPIRIT COMFORTER COMES TO YOUR CHURCH WHICH APPEALS TO THE WORLD

John 16:7 Nevertheless I tell you the truth; It is EXPEDIENT for you that I go away:
      for if I go not away, the Comforter will not come unto you;
      but if I depart, I will send him unto you.
John 16:8 And when he is come,
        he will REPROVE the WORLD OF SIN,
        and of RIGHTEOUSNESS, and of JUDGMENT:
John 16:9 Of sin, because they believe NOT IN ME
John 16:10 Of righteousness, because I go to my Father, and ye see me no more;
John 16:11 Of judgment, because the prince of this world is judged.

SPIRIT defines the MENTAL CONDITION of the ONE GOD which is BREATHED only into the MOUTH of Jesus Christ ONCE FOR ALL TIME. [ 1 Corinthians 2). But WE have the MIND OF CHRIST.

Only Sons FROM God who are taught BY God (John 6) know that the WORDS of Christ ARE Spirit and Life.

We are given A holy spirit or A good conscience, consciousness or a CO-PERCEPTION of the Word we accept the WASHING OF REGENERATION or Washed with water INTO the WORD.

Titus 3:4 But after that the KINDNESS and LOVE of God  [Not additional Gods]
        OUR SAVIOUR [Jesus] toward man appeared,
Titus 3:5 Not by works of righteousness which we have done,
        but according to his mercy he saved us,
        by the washing of regeneration,
        and renewing
                                \ of the Holy SPIRIT; [our spirit needs REgeneration]

Heb. 12:2 Looking unto Jesus the AUTHOR and FINISHER of OUR FAITH; who for the joy that was set before him endured the cross, despising the shame, and is set down at the right hand of the throne of God.

THIS THEME IS REPEATED OVER AND OVER:

Luke 1:73 The oath which he sware to our father Abraham,
Luke 1:74 That he would grant unto us,
        that we being delivered out of the hand of our enemies
        might serve him without fear,
Luke 1:75 In HOLINESS [Their spirits MADE HOLY]
         and righteousness before him, all the days of our life.
Luke 1:76 And thou, child, shalt be called the prophet of the Highest:
        for thou shalt go before the face of the Lord to prepare his ways;
Luke 1:77 To give KNOWLEDGE OF SALVATION
         unto his people by the remission of their sins,
Luke 1:78 Through the tender mercy of our God;
        whereby the dayspring from on high hath visited us,
Luke 1:79 To GIVE LIGHT to them that sit in darkness and in the shadow of death,
        to guide our feet into the way of peace
IT IS JESUS WHO SHEDS SPIRIT BECAUSE HIS WORDS ARE SPIRIT AND LIFE.

Titus 3:6 WHICH [GOD] he SHED on us abundantly
        THROUGH JESUS CHRIST OUR SAVIOUR;
ef-fundo (a favorite expression with the historians): “omnis sese multitudo ad cognoscendum effudit (sc. ex urbe),
co-gnosco , I. To become thoroughly acquainted with (by the senses or mentally), to learn by inquiring, to examine, investigate, perceive, see, understand, learn;
II. To recognize that which is already known, acknowledge, identify
prŏcella , ae,  A.  In gen.: “effudi vobis omnia, quae sentiebam,” i. e. have freely imparted, II “procellam eloquentiae  3. Of a storm of eloquence:

John 3:8 The wind bloweth where it listeth,
        and thou hearest the sound thereof, but canst not tell whence it cometh,
        and whither it goeth: so is every one that is born of the Spirit.

Sons of God who are BORN (again) by water and SPIRIT Speak SPIRIT WORDS and the WORLD is left in bewilderment and think that they are crazy.


John 3:11 Verily, verily, I say unto thee,
        We speak that we do know,
        and testify that we have seen;
        and ye receive not our witness.
John 3:12 If I have told you earthly things, and ye believe not,
        how shall ye believe, if I tell you of heavenly things?

John 3:16 For God so loved the world, that he gave his only begotten Son,
        that whosoever believeth in him should not perish, but have everlasting life.
John 3:17 For God sent not his Son into the world to condemn the world;
        but that the world through him might be saved.
John 3:18 He that believeth on him is not condemned:
        but he that believeth not is condemned already,
        because he hath not believed in the name of the only begotten Son of God.
John 3:19 And this is the condemnation,
        that light is come into the world,
        and men loved darkness rather than light,
        because their deeds were evil.
MEN WHO HATE g444. ἄνθρωπος anthropos, anth´-ro-pos; from 435 and ὤψ ops (the countenance; from 3700); man-faced, i.e. a human being: — certain, man.
g3700 mechanical, passive or casual vision; while 2300, and still more emphatically its intensive 2334, signifies an earnest but more continued inspectio
John 3:20 For every one that doeth evil hateth the light,
        neither cometh to the light, lest his deeds should be reproved.
John 3:21 But he that doeth truth cometh to the light,
        that his deeds may be made manifest, that they are wrought IN God.
Man's deeds are not made BY God but one who has been baptized INTO.

Titus 3:8 This is a faithful saying, and these things I will that thou affirm constantly, that they which have believed in God might be careful to maintain good works. These things are good and profitable unto men

        THAT ye may know what is the hope of his calling,
        and what the riches of the glory of his inheritance in the saints,
Eph. 1:19 And what is the exceeding greatness of his power to us-ward WHO BELIEVE,
        according to the working of his mighty power,
